Our Morning Coffee and Weather

It was raining when I headed out to the outdoor airgun range this morning. I thought to myself that it was going to stop, but after an hour and a half of waiting, I called it a day and headed for home.

Halfway home ....... yep, you guessed it. It stopped raining.

I've decided to head for the indoor range later, instead. It never rains in there!

I am finishing up some stuff for my husband in the wee hours and decided to pop in here.

I got some more donations together for our county library. Wagon Train, Band of Brothers and The Pacific got gifted on Sunday.

I plan on organizing our last group of movies with him, giving a few more books to the library, giving some more gifts to friends and charity, cleaning out the DEN aka gun room and super insulated garage this week.

It was cooler outside on Sunday evening so I did a bit in the garage earlier with him. I moved some MORE items in the garage in the wee hours too.

It's a beautiful, sunny 74° today, and I'm ......................... stuck inside decorating! Worse than that, I'm painting. In my book, that is almost as bad as driving 50 miles to a shooting range, only to discover that you've left your magazines behind!

I just started watching the B&W TV series Wagon Train, which is available on demand. I was too young in 1957 to to have watched it then. It's an extraordinary production. The first episode of season one featured Ernest Borgnine and the second episode featured Shelly Winters. The writing and acting are solid. I've also been watching Wanted: Dead or Alive on demand. It's another series that was broadcast after my bedtime when it first aired. And, my DVR currently has more than 100 episodes of The Rifleman, which I'm slowly working my through. I'm loving all of them.

Today promises to be sunny and warm.

It was 71° and sunny today, but tomorrow we will pay the price with a few thunderstorms. I used to love the tropical lightning storms in Africa - perhaps I'll get lucky tomorrow!

My husband is going fishing with his buddy today. I think that he may be in the Swan Mountain range (?) and I will have to ask him when he gets up.

I may work in the yard before it gets too warm out. I will work in the den and garage a bit too.

We have some more donations to take to the library too.

We're into the high 60's here, with seemingly never-ending rain. It's giving me a chance to catch up on all those indoor jobs that always seem to get put off until "tomorrow".
