62 this morning and partly cloudy. High today is 95 and tomorrow 98. It’s hot but not as bad as the east side of the Rockies. The 90’s are expected to stick around into next week. Ugh! :(

Yesterday I hauled several trees from my neighbor’s place to mine. They had a bunch cut down to build a shop. This is what it looked like when I arrived plus more that are out of sight down the slope. I’m in firewood heaven! :D

I went outside for five minutes and could hardly breathe. The tower is about 4,000 feet away.

OK, the fact is, its nowhere close to even being on that list ..?!? .. don't know of anything that will take is away from home again today

Another smokey morning and another day I’m not going outside. Towards evening yesterday you couldn’t even see the sun.

No air filters except on the A/C. The particles are large and dont seem to come inside with all the doors and windows shut. I dont keep going in and out so inside its fine.

An AQI of 73 is clear. I can understand the weatherman not predicting the future correct but don’t understand why they can’t get the present right.

82 (RealFeel 98) @ 10AM on its way to a high of 98 followed by an overnight low of 72 .... "Mostly sunny and toasty conditions; danger of dehydration and heatstroke if outside for extended periods of time" .... no chance of significant rain during the coming week .... only things I know of that will take us away from home today is hauling trash and to pickup our 10 year old grandson after school and get him to a tutoring session

It was 70 when I got up a couple of hours ago. Smokey too as we have a wind from the north bring in smoke from Canada. Nothing like Sir Henry, coop and others in that area are suffering. (We’ll get theew before the fire season is over most likely) :( Another Red Flag Warning day today with high heat, low humidity and gusty winds. High today for my place is 99 and Spokane will see 101+. I’m planning on staying cool today by playing golf starting at 11:20 in order to be out there durning the peak of the heat. We are renting carts today which is not normal but with the heat a good idea.

Hope I’m still around to post tomorrow.

Big difference in 400 feet elevation and five miles. The smoke is sinking and being on the Hill is much better.

Hope so. What I've seen on the news here is that it's pretty bad up that way in general.
