Well still haven't made it to the range...tomorrow night, I grab the Henry and go. Having tea right now in one of the various cowboy mugs we own, then relax. It's been a long hot day and this old buckaroo is plum wore out.

I'm enjoying a nice Canadian Whiskey. It was another long day. Another one is on deck for tomorrow.

Having a Miller High Life. It was hot and humid here today also but some pretty potent thunderstorms came rolling through about 3:00PM and now the humidity has subsided and tomorrow is to be less humid. I will have to cut grass.

;) In the morning coffee thread, I wrote that my day started with a soothing Henry mug of double mocha. It's ending with the same drink this evening, and again there's that nice soothing with a warm, tasty mug full. ;)

Got through all the ins/outs of wrapping up the accident I was in yesterday. Good help from the insurance company, van is now scheduled to be repaired next month (July already!), rental car ordered, etc., etc. And to top it off, we had a strong rain shower this morning and I gathered 1/2" of water in our range gauge --- much needed here!!

Well, I finished 33 years of being accident-free.
Guess I started over today! :D

Be safe, Everyone. And thanks to all for your comments on the good outcome from my fender-bender......no injuries, and only messed-up car paint!

Glad you're ok. Huge thunderstorms here this evening. Hopefully no hail. Tea then call it a day.

That is just plain too hot! But that picture and the drink surely look refreshing.

I agree Dutch.....It's 82 with a sea breeze at home right now. No sea breeze in the Sierra foothills.

Nice night here, about 70F, wind has calmed down. Just made tea, busy day. Got all the grass cut, takes about 3 hrs. Then put new flag up for Canada Day. We get about 3 months out of a flag, by then there's not much left just a few shreds from the wind. Then the washing machine sprung a hot water leak so it's sitting in the middle of the hall right now until I can get a new hose tomorrow for it. Then I heard that actress Olivia De Havilland from Gone with the Wind is 100 yrs old today. I wonder how many washing machines she's owned in her lifetime?
