34 with some peeks of the sun expected today. Mid 40’s for the high and no rain until Sunday. Works for me as I don’t have any outdoor plans for Sunday.

Thurs 2/05 .... 33 degrees at 11AM under a mostly cloudy sky .... some sleet/light rain this morning, no precip right now ... predicted high 40 followed by an overnight low of 21 .... first up this morning, with the local schools starting under a 2 hour delay we took our 9 year old grandson to school .... on our way home we had to stop at a local Post Office and to go back to the town office to drop off the water bill .... now back home waiting on a plumber to come and work on the water at our daughter's place .... nothing much else on tap for today

30, frosty and foggy. There is a suggestion that this area may see 50 today but that will require the fog to burn off. We’re having an inversion with warm air above the cold surface temps. Often times this will keep the forecast high from happening. Nice today and tomorrow with rain coming in this weekend.

My son came over last night and we got a scope mounted on his AR. I’m keeping some of his guns in my safe as he’s living in a somewhat temporary house that doesn’t have room for his safe. He picked up his Colt Woodsman as he’s going shooting this weekend.

35' and hazy sunny this morning. We did get frost out in the open, so it was likely colder than that at some point. Got up to 63' yesterday. Maybe 59' and sunny later. Again, rain forecasted for this weekend.

Can you believe the warmer temperatures we are going to be getting! Of course we do have 15 mph wind with gusts to 30. And it snowed last night. Looks like maybe 2 inches. But it’s hard to tell because it’s still dark out. I bet I’ll have foot drifts in the driveway.

30 again this morning with fog. Today the fog is not expected to burn off so the high is forecast to be in the 30’s. Yesterday it did burn off and we had a sunny warm afternoon. Come on spring. Rain is expected to arrive tomorrow evening and then last thru Sunday. Next week we are looking at a return to more winter like temps with lows in the 20’s.

Today is run around day including heading over to Idaho for cheap gas.

34 this morning with a misty rain in the air. High probably in the upper 30’s with rain coming in mid day. All day rain tomorrow then drying up on Monday with colder temps next week.

Not much on tap for today other than watching the Gonzaga Bulldogs men’s basketball team take on the Oregon State Beavers. Gonzaga played the Portland Pilots last Wednesday who are a sub 500 very inferior team. Of course the Bulldogs layed a big fat egg and got thumped. WTH? Seems like they do this once every year. Hope for no repeat today as Oregon is similar to Portland in the win/loss dept.

39 with a damp day out there. Great day to stay indoors and keep the fire burning. It’s supposed to rain most of the day with maybe a half inch by the time it’s done.

We’re heading into Spokane mid day to pick up some food from a local place called The Cathay Inn. (Sir Henry, you probably remember it) That’s going to be our Super Bowl dinner. I have some Yuengling chilling in the fridge and also some fresh ice made. It’s a game time decision if I enjoy beer or Buffalo Trace.

Go Hawks.
