Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good Morning from Blanco Tx USA. I took a few shots of our location. We bought a new RV this year and so far we really like it. It has some new old features in it that are very user friendly. Some of the MFGs have gone old school and all the high tech stuff is gone. We now have a 12 volt fridge instead of propane and electric. That allows us to leave the fridge on going down the road and no inverter to run a residential. There are some other interior features like a hidden closet in back of the entertainment area. Also the RV is now 101 wide rather than 96 wide. All floors are vinyl. No carpet. Windows are square with built in shades. We also have hot water on demand. So far its been trouble free. It pulls easier than our last RV and our Dodge Ram 3500 with the old 5.9 Cummins diesel does a great job still. I get around 10mpg pulling this RV and I get 15 when not. Ya diesel cost more than gas but there is no comparison when pulling gas vs diesel.
Don't let the old man in

39 at 7:30AM under a beautiful, clear Carolina Blue Sky ....although recent rains have led to some increased soil moisture, abnormally dry conditions are still present .... consequently, outdoor burning restrictions are still in place .... only a 2% chance of rain, next decent chance of rain not for 3 days .... forecasted high today is 70 followed by an overnight low of 47 .... first up this morning, Maureen is already gone to a physical therapy appointment .... nothing I know of that will take me away from home today

Nice looking rig Al. Our Winnebago is just old enough that we have the 12 volt/propane frig and we like that a lot as well. Also Carol is done with carpet. Period! Ours is all tile inside except for a strip of carpet in the slide. Much easier to get the beach sand out.
We looked at a new one a couple of years ago and you couldn't even open the windows. No screen door either. Not for us. We like the fresh air when it's not too cold or hot.

54 at 8:30AM on Thurs Nov 6th .... they say our high will be 66 later this afternoon before dropping back to an overnight low of 35 .... highs in the 70's due later this week and over the weekend .... overnight lows due to fall below freezing the first of next week, Maureen already moving some potted plants inside .... no medical appointments today ..
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
29º with a heavy frost and clear skies. Have to mulch leaves again (3rd time with more to come) before the predicted snow Sunday/Monday. Lake Michigan is 5º warmer than normal so the consensus is more precipitation than usual but that also helps the temperatures. Can't put the snowblower on the lawn tractor until the leaves are dealt with. Doubt we will have that much snow and it will not last more than a couple days since the ground is too warm. Tis the season.

Fair, 39°F, Humidity 75%
Wind Speed SE 7 mph
Barometer 30.05 in
Dewpoint 32°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Mostly cloudy, with a high near 55.
South wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
I started blowing leaves into the woods yesterday and then my four wheel utility
vehicle blew a tire, so today I'm on a hunt for new tires.
We have some really cold and blustery weather coming up so I want to get as much
done as I can.
