Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
41 this morning with a nice soaking rain overnight. Dry the rest of today, all day tomorrow and Friday morning. Rain returns just in time for the poor trick or treaters. Sorry kids, been there, done that!
Today is run around day in the morning then this afternoon I’m helping my neighbor with his RR tie backstop for his little rimfire shooting range. Should be a nice afternoon for it.
Tomorrow we’re planning to haul the Ranger up to the property and take a trip up into the burn area from last summer’s wildfire. I have the winch set up with a short strap for the snow blade but I’m expecting the roads to be torn up and possible muddy so I’m going to put the 50’ cable back on it. Hope I don’t need it.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning, well the ole hump day was a wet one, with rain off and on most of the day.
Woke up to a flat rear tire on the truck yesterday. I managed to find it and get it plugged between showers and then made a trip to the dump.
It's 48* here this AM and headed to a sunny 60 later.
Guess it's back to work today.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fog/Mist, 34°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.03 in
Dewpoint 34°F
Visibility 3.00 mi
Areas of dense fog before noon. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 48.
Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the afternoon.
A slight chance of sprinkles between 3pm and 5pm, then a slight chance of rain after 5pm.
Chance of precipitation is 10%.
Looks like a glum day. I plan to pull the dock today.
The gun club banquet last evening was a lot of fun. It really is encouraging to see so many high
school age young folks getting into the shooting sports. We have several high school trap teams
that train and practice at our club.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
as forecasted, after three days of rain, our sky is clearing .... 54 at 9:18AM under beautiful Carolina Blue Sky with a few scattered, high fluffy clouds .... predicted high 63 dropping back to an overnight low of 42 .... we awoke to a call from our daughter saying her son hadn't taken all of his meds this morning .... with hauling off trash already on our to do list, we loaded our trash into our truck and headed out before breakfast .... after taking him his meds we proceeded on to the waste disposal site and are now back home .... don't know about anyone else, we find ourselves trying to take care of as many things as possible on each trip .... only other item on today's list is to meet some of our camping club members at a BBQ restaurant this evening .... certainly looking forward to that ....
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
31 this morning with reports of some dense fog out there. Not here at my place but the Little Spokane river runs a mile or so away from us and I bet once the sun shows up we’ll be able to see a foggy valley. High today in the upper 40’s with sunshine expected by late morning. Clouds coming in overnight but the rain is expected to hold off until after the Spokane trick or treaters are finished. Hope so.
We’re taking the Ranger up to the property today to take a ride up into the burn area and have a look around. Hopefully any fog up there will be in the valleys and not up on the ridges. This is normal for that area. Be a shame to get all the way up there just to see fog.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning and a Happy Halloween to everyone.
It's 39° here this AM and says mid 60's later.
Got the lean to ready for the metal roof, will go by and grab it on the way to the job site. Should be done before noon.
Anyone remember Cotton Ivy, he was a regular on the Hee Haw show. Well, the job we're working on is his son, and is the recently retired Fed DA here in TN. Super nice guy.
Picture before lunch yesterday.

need to get going. I sold my second Ford tractor and the guy wants
to pick it up next week, but now the battery is shorted out.

I'm kinda here. Using VPN to circumvent the IP block on my region.
52' and a blustery rainy morning. More of the same expected rest of the day and maybe get up to 61.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
today is proving to be a really nice one .... first thing this morning our youngest son, his son, and our 9 year old grandson went fishing at a local lake .... yep, the temp was in the 40's which most certainly caused a cold ride across the lake .... there was a major fishing tournament in progress when we got there and it was still going on when we let 4 hours later highlight of the trip for me was watching the 9 year old catch and land a small blue gill .... I caught a 3 lb largemouth .... the worm on my hood did most of the work, I just held on .... 64 at 4PM under a clear Carolina Blue Sky with no rain mentioned until late tomorrow .... they say the temp will rise another degree before dropping back to an overnight low of 35 which brings with it a Frost Advisory

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
40 at 8AM .... the frost advisory issued for this morning has just been lifted, no frost in our area .... they are calling for our high today to be 65 and its due to drop back to 51 for our overnight low .... our morning sky is clear, rain likely to move in late today and overnight .... not a fan of theirs, nonetheless happy to see the Dodgers repeat as World Series Champions

Fair, 36°F, Humidity 93%
Wind Speed S 10 mph
Barometer 30.05 in
Dewpoint 34°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 51.
Breezy, with a south southwest wind 10 to 15 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon.
Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
We also are not Dodger fans but it was really good baseball to watch.
WE got a lot done yesterday. The dock is in, the deck furniture is put away, and the pole
shed is ready for my friend to bring his two old Mustangs for Winter storage.
