Took a boat ride yesterday planning on cruising up to the location of our largest wildfire in the area. It’s about 15 miles up the lake. Got 2/3 rds of the way there and ran into a storm so turned around. Stupid storm followed us back down the lake so we should have kept going. We got some winds and there was lightning reported in the area but we didn’t experience it.
Didn’t have to consult with our vet for our dog’s sand pooping. Thankfully he worked all the sand out and returned to normal doggy-do.

Back home from camp. It’s 66 this morning with 83 expected later. Another day of 25 mph wind gusts, same as yesterday. Had a couple of new fires break out yesterday including one very close to my son’s place which is downwind and directly in the path of it. Thankfully the awesome fire dept got it knocked down and limited it to 5 acres with no structures lost.
Today is put stuff away day and get the boat washed day. Did a lot of dancing and now I have to pay the fiddler.
