Maureen left a while ago for a medical appointment .... the well that provides water to our daughter's home failed yesterday afternoon .... our long time plumber came and diagnosed the problem as being with the pressure tank .... he's gone to get parts ... while here he will also take care of kitchen sink drain fixture in our camper

48 and sunny with the high expected to be 74. Cool down starts tomorrow with the chance of rain for a few days. Sure hope so.

Still feeling poorly but certainly much better than 4-5 days ago. Lawn needs to be mowed so I do the easy part sitting on the mower but leave the trimming and other hand work for another time. I feel like this Covid is never ending.

It’s a cool overcast 50 out there maybe seeing the lower 70’s later. Then tomorrow the high could remain in the 50’s. Of course the weather folks are backing off on their prediction of some measurable rain this weekend to maybe a sprinkle here and there. That won’t do anything for our dry spell. It was reported this morning that for the last 30 days we have had 1% of the normal amount of rain.

Had a neighbor who had four trees cut down and the guy doing the cutting delivered the logs to me for firewood. Can’t wait to feel better so I can get this cut up.

I wish you lived closer. I have several very large Ash trees killed by the Emerald Ash Borer that I need to get rid of. Ash is very good firewood as it's a very dry tree that grows in areas that are wet. You can cut it and in two weeks burn it.
Some of the logs are sixty foot long with a diameter of 24 t 30 inches and would make great saw logs, but there are so many dead trees in the area that there is no demand for them.
Sad.

You might feel better when you start but buy the time you get done I bet the gin and tonics will be freely flowing to reduce how you feel after cutting all that up.

82 with a RealFeel of 94 at 11AM ... forecasted high 89 before falling back to 66 overnight .... very hot, very humid .... today is Friday, they say Sunday is going to be much worse with a high of 96, RealFeel 106 .... first up this morning was taking one of our grandsons to a dental appointment, just under a two hour round trip drive for a 15 minute appointment .... just finished emptying out our Freightliner Sportchassis and most of what was removed ended up in the trash ....
