29 with a nice sun coming up thru the trees. High in the mid 50’s today. We may see 70 on Thursday so we’re planning on taking the boat out and doing some fishing that day. We’ll hit a beach somewhere and give the dogs a swim.

We made the trip up to the property yesterday and the door opened fine. Thank you spring! Another purpose of the trip was to make the decision to sell it or not. We’ve been thinking about selling it but it’s a hard decision. I’d love to reinvest the money into a piece of property closer to home and near a boat launch on Lake Roosevelt. We’ll see.

I forgot to post this pic last week after playing golf at a course called The Creek at Qualchan. Love this sign and it rings true. Not the the last holes are impossibly difficult but there is a huge risk/reward. Take the short cut over water on 16 and oops….on 18 there is a 100 yard wide chasm over the creek that will collect golf balls if you take the risk. Whoever put this sign in place has a wicked sense of humor.

Nice Spring morning. I had a vitrectomy on my right eye Monday and I am restricted to lifting no more than 5 lbs and no straining for at least a week. Already bored waiting for the air bubble in my eye to go away. May attempt driving to the LGS this morning.

30 this morning as the eastern sky gets light. High should be in the upper 60’s with sunshine. Nice for the next several days with maybe some scattered rain early next week. Planning on getting more done outside and prepping the boat for tomorrow’s fishing trip to Lake Roosevelt. We’ll be targeting rainbow trout but the lake level is being lowered and that can put the fish off the bite. Regardless it will be a nice day on the water.

Bored? When was the last time you took your drone for a spin?

Last Fall. Was waiting for the wind to die down, it has been pretty breezy the last 2-3 weeks. Had 2 tornados 3 weeks ago. But you are right. I need more practice.

Warming up, it’s 37 now with a high tickling 70. No frost this morning for the first time in several days. Nice for the next several days, I think spring has finally beaten out ole’ man winter.

We’re taking advantage of the nice weather today and heading to the lake to see if we can catch a fish. Not super hopeful as the water level is dropping which affects the bite. Still will be a nice day to be on the water and give the boat its first outing of the year. We’ll try to find a beach to give the dogs a run/swim but that can be tricky when the water is down.

Hopefully pics tomorrow.
