28 this morning and dark. Not sure what the expected high is but with the promise of some sunshine we could see 50. Sadly rain and snow are moving in tomorrow just in time for the annual St. Paddy’s Parade in downtown Spokane. Lots of other outdoor activities planned in and around Spokane so it’s an unfortunate weekend to have rain and snow.

Eastern part of the state has blizzard warnings but we just had a skiff of snow. We just had some hellacious winds. Off to watch granddaughter play basketball. Everyone have a great Day & weekend!

Heeeeeeessssssss’s back. :(

Old man winter returned for (hopefully) one last blast of snow. Go away. 32 this morning but we should see the 40’s later. More of the same tomorrow and then maybe a couple of nice days.

Just saw a report of spring break on Daytona Beach. Sitting here watching the snow come down it’s so strange to see folks in swimming suits playing on the beach. Okay, maybe in another four months for me.

Mid sixties last night, mid eighties today with a cloudless sky and a little breeze. All of the Azaleas are blooming and the birds are very vocal. Spring is here.

This picture was taken 15 minutes before sunrise. I was surprised to see a skiff of overnight snow. I’m scheduled to leave for Virginia and the forecast is for nine inches of snow. We are now thinking of leaving late Tuesday to beat the snow.

Sunday morning with heavy storms on the way to where we are camped at Raleigh Oaks .... as is normal, many sites are open, most weekenders have already pulled out .... our daughter is already home and unpacking her camper .... 68 now on its way to 72 before falling back to 54 tonight .... from the hourly forecast, bands of rough weather seem to be the order of the day .... steady wind in the low teens MPH range with gusty spells escalating to the 30's .... hopefully things will go well

Woke up to 34 and another inch of fresh wet snow. Should melt off like yesterday’s did. No weather report this morning but I expect highs to be in the 40’s. We should see some improving weather for the next few days. Looks like we may make our first golf outing on Tuesday so hoping for some sunshine and warm temps.

Yesterday we had periods of rain, snow, graupel, sunshine and wind gusts all in the same 15 minutes. Repeat, repeat, repeat!

Yep, spring is here,

27 with a hard frost after all the precipitation we got over the weekend. Partly sunny and warmer today which will feel nice after the stormy weekend.

I have a gazillion pine cones and branches messing up the yard so today I get started on doing my spring clean up. Tomorrow is my first golf outing for the season and it’s supposed to be sunny and 49. Wonderful!
