36 on its way to a high of 57 before dropping back to 38 tonight .... only a 1% chance of rain .... after lunch we have a meeting scheduled at our church for "End of Life Planning" meeting with our pastor .... hope whatever we learn won't be needed for a while but one never knows .... along this line we learned late yesterday of the passing of one of our sons grandmother-in-law ....

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Haven't posted in a couple of days. I just got busy in the mornings and didn't get around to it. It was 52 degrees this morning and with sunny skies all day. At 3 in the afternoon it's 74°. I'm off tomorrow (I work my own hours anyway, but it's nice to say) and think I'll go on an extended ride on the Harley.

37 heading to the 60's. Another nice day. Heading to dentist this morning to get an abscessed tooth taken care of. Toothache since before Christmas and this is earliest he could work me in. Ain't that something.

Fair, 25°F, Humidity 93%
Wind Speed E 5 mph
Barometer 30.11 in
Dewpoint 23°F (-5°C)
Visibility 10.00 mi
Sunny, with a high near 41.
East southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.
Our daughter's Father in law came out yesterday and we cut a lot of fallen
branches up and knocked down two large dead trees. It was in the 50s and
we had a good time working together. there is lots more to do.
He had an Atlas Electric chain saw which he said was good for four hours on
one charge, but it only lasted 40 minutes. However it was very powerful and
cut well. Thankfully he also had his gas powered one with him as well.

I feel your pain graywolf. I needed to see my doctor but the computer said the earliest appointment I could get was three weeks away and we leave in two weeks for Arizona, so I sent an email to him and twenty minutes later his nurse called and I got in that afternoon.
It is getting harder to find care takers anymore.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
42 on its way to a most welcome 64 with no rain in sight .... Punxsutawney Phil did not see his shadow in a ceremony this morning at Gobbler’s Knob in Pennsylvania. Per tradition, that means he’s predicting an early spring.... haven't heard if Snerd, our local weather predicting groundhog, saw his shadow but looking outside its highly likely he did .... first up this morning is hauling a load to the dump
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently it 37 with a high of 46 expected. Our early spring started a couple of weeks ago. Hope this continues. Most of the snow is gone for now. More of the same expected for the next several days other than a little bit cooler.
Not sure what today will bring other than taking my wife into Spokane for some girl shopping. I’ll be dropping her off and heading to a nearby bowling alley where it was reported they are selling used pins for $1. If so I’ll pick up a dozen or so for targets.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Breaking a record by posting two consecutive days! It was 52° this morning on the dog walk. It's already up to 65° and should top out in the mid 70's. Just had a bowl of cereal and coffee for breakfast.

My dentist for 35 years retired beginning of last years. I saw another dentist in same group couple times last year after my cleanings. My wife has been seeing him. I just thought going to same place for that long, that they could have worked me in quicker than 6 weeks with a tooth hurting like it was.

Definitely. I've been in the same situation many times and my dentist got me right in.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
37 with another 40+ degree day expected. Rain coming in later this evening. I’m getting tired of all these gloomy days in a row but I’m enjoying not moving snow. Sure could use some sunshine to brighten up my mood.
Going to have a new neighbor this year. This is the parcel behind us which is quite a bit downhill from our place. We won’t have any line of sight to them due to the difference in elevation. Late fall they had a crew in to limb and thin the trees and the crew really went to town. Opened up the parcel quite a bit, more than I would have but each to their own. Regardless the place looks great. I can’t believe the number of stakes they have pounded into the ground. Way more than just the perimeter of the house. My dog and I hike down there often and it will be fun to watch progress once construction starts.

Good morning, it was 42 when I got up, headed towards 70.
I may pull the scooter out and get a little wind therapy.
It'll be the first ride of the year.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
another cool, beautiful start to fall day in central NC .... 45 now on its way to 52 .... its supposed to drop to 31 about 4AM and remain a degree or two below freezing until sometime around 8AM .... in short, no concerns for a hard freeze .... shortly college basketball games between teams we are interested in are scheduled to begin .... those games should last most of the day
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
48 right now and sunshine for first time in quite a while. I went out to feed goats and cats without a coat. Not going to last though, cloudy and rain in the forecast starting tomorrow.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Got a message earlier that the grandson got sick during the night so he won't be coming over.
Oh well, it's raining and we'd of had to make do playin inside and he much prefers to romp through the woods than be inside.
Maybe next weekend, maybe a little back porch plinkin by myself.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Raining, rained all night and man am I getting tired of rain. But….it’s supposed to end mid day and we may see the sun peek out for a little bit. I’ll take any sun thank you. Then more rain overnight but ending in the morning. Can’t wait to bitch about the hot sun and dry conditions.
If nothing else I’ll straighten up the garage with or without rain. Then take the dog for a hike and try to get some outdoor time in.
