The Adult Evening Beverage
Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
DD, yeah, so much to do. I am helping a child o mine move. Good ol Grandad. I prefer a cold Coors and a shot of that Bird my dad taught me about.
He told me he and his buds used to go Turkey hunting...never got past the corner bar. Always got their bird.
Got some time in the river the other day, so my level of peace of mind is doing well. Still really excited about acquiring some reloading gear and learning a new hobby. Peace, Ya'll.

Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Our day starts and ends fairly early; only a few hours to go. The vegetable garden has been planted; dinner has been prepared, cooked, served, and eaten; the sun has fallen behind the trees; and the Tequila is waiting in the wings for the evening to close another beautiful day in the neighborhood.
Tomorrow I plan to do some reloading for next week's day at the range and live lobsters go on sale at our local supermarket. A quick trip there is also on the agenda.

Long day. For a change of pace and scenery, I'm enjoying a Bacardi and diet Pepsi. I prefer that to Coke.
I hope your day was good. If you are up still, tell us about it. I'm spent like fuel rod. I need some relaxation time. Hope it rears it's lovely head this weekend.

Re: The Adult Evening Beverage
Well, went to camp looking for relaxation this weekend. I worked all day Saturday on the Honey do's and other projects. I helped put in two dock's and was as spent as a fuel rod.
Well this morning was my reward. I packed up the canoe and motor and set of all alone to fish. I reached my destination, a large pond, 15 minutes off paved roadway. I loaded up, tested the motor and off I went. I had three different rods. All got used, two got fish. I caught about 10 small mouth bass and a couple large mouths. As many keeper perch and even a sunfish. All in just over three hours on the water. I didn't keep any fish, as we were leaving today and bass are not in season yet. I loaded the canoe and supplies back into the truck and got out the metal detector. I scanned the launch area as a courtesy, removed a bent nail from the launch sand and set off for a treasure hunt. Another nail and two lincoln pennies were all the treasure that place had to offer today. (I told a buddy I would do some detecting while I was at camp) All in all, not a bad morning of fishing.
I hope your day was nice. I took some pictures and if I don't drink this martini too fast, I may post them tonight. If not later.

Evening tea. Posted another little range report. Had fun shooting!
Cattle move on Thursday now postponed to Saturday. So I guess I'll just have to go to the range tomorrow night instead! Tea time again.
