Wait a doggone minute here, I've seen fist fights over Beanie Weenie C-rats in VN.
I considered them one of the best, unfortunately there were only two to a case.

Oh, they were OK, but I really hated the Green Eggs and Ham.

I recall lighting one of those C-rat cigarettes. It spewed a flame that lasted until it burnt my nose.
They were pretty dried out.

Went by our youngest son's house today to celebrate our grandson's 10th birthday. Had a wonderful time. Our son cooked dinner of meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes and fresh baked yeast rolls. The meatloaf was our grandson's request. He loves his dad's cooking and that's his favorite. This boy loves to cook and it shows.

Burgers tonight on the Country Smokers grill. Steak fries and yes cheese and bacon on those burgers they were a huge hit.

We had fried oyster po-boys from a local eatery...very good!
Wife had seafood gumbo as well which she said was excellent.

Fried oyster po-boys sounds intriguing but not something you'd find around here, would have to drive to Seattle. I had never heard of them before but I love oysters. Might have to try making some, lots of recipes here.

Tonite was sea scallops, asparagus and rice pilaf...very good! Wife does a great job not over cooking the scallops!

Man, that all looks good to me. We had a baked chicken last night that a neighbor gave us. She said it was free range, but I also think it was an old rooster because it was tough and strong tasting.
We have never been to Chic Filet A so we decided we would try it today. Looked at their menu on line and it looks pretty good. Whenever we pass one there is always a line of cars.

I ate there about a month ago. First time in years. Fat, salt and sugar was what I ordered. I do eat at Taco Hell once a month. There plain bean burrito is relatively healthy.

You guys eat so healthy I’m embarrassed to show last night’s dinner. But what the hell, we enjoyed pork steaks from the skillet with baked potatoes and homemade pork gravy. Very unhealthy but also very tasty.

I eat a bit healthier since the Bowling Alley has been closed (covid). I bowled a morning league for retired old guys (Geritol League) and always had Chicken Fried Steak and Hash Browns with extra gravy, Eggs and Toast and Jam. And then there was the tempting deep fried items on my 2 evening leagues.

We are hoping our bowling alley makes it through the closure, except for a brief period when they were allowed limited occupancy they've been closed since last April. Barely hanging on now with some fund raisers and a couple of go fund me's.
