Sooo, how's the gun/ammo shortage in your area?

I really don't know in that I haven't been since I got back from Oklahoma. I may go by on the way back from the Dr's Thursday to check it out. I've got to go to my annual urology appointment. Never look forward to the digital exam.

Ammo is scarce around here as well. No 9mm to be found, I have not looked for 5.56 per se, but know there is none of it to be found either. I didn’t see any .357 either.

I picked up some bear load 10mm today, and some 12 ga last week. .40 is available and I will probably pick up more of that soon. I saw some .454 Casull on the shelf, but with no price on it so I was hesitant to even carry it to the register.

.30-30 is available at WM, as was 45-70 and I may also pick some up at some point.

.22 is still available, but the owner of one of the gun shops near one of our plants shared a horror story about their cost on the .22 was quoted at $.27/rd.

I saw a lot of magnum pistol primers on the shelf and bullets, but not much powder at Sportsman’s warehouse.

Pretty much the same story here.. Spotty.. Seems like the little mom and pop operations are having better luck getting and keeping stuff on hand over the larger stores. Our local Fleet store started carrying firearms late last winter. They stocked up on firearms but not ammo. their shelves were empty of ammo even before the rush and they have been empty ever since. Last week they got a shipment of all deer hunting rifle ammo and they are looking good there and they have plenty of shot shells, but 0 pistol ammo.

I was in a small shop today that seemed to be well stocked, but they did say it has been crazy busy.
