Re: Surgery on Monday
Late to the party, but with nearly twenty five surgeries behind me.. I have faith.
(Or... I have a thing for counting backwards from one hundred.
)
Best of luck, see you on the other side.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Thank you BrokenolMarine. The surgery went well. My sources say most of me will make a complete recovery.

Re: Surgery on Monday
I spent a sleepless night in the hospital and am set to go home. They're going to leave this dern Foley in for a week. Pain level at about 6-7 but I can stand that. It hurts most when I have to twist my body to get up from the gurney. Or if I get a gas bubble.
Thanks again for all the prayers and wishes. I know I would not have had as easy time without them.

Re: Surgery on Monday
Update. I had a fever spike after 3 hours at home and am back in the hospital. They're keeping me overnight. We were getting supper together when my fever showed up. I'm so hungry.

I’m saying prayers for you. I’m in the camp that it’s better to address than “leaving it and keeping an eye out for trouble”.
I’m hope you have a successful surgery with a speedy recovery.

Not entirely uncommon. Sure they would rather just have you in the safest place to monitor. Keep your chin up.
