Jake has the Astros pumped up and rolling. Will see what happens tonight. Its been a long dry spell in Washington since they have won a world series game even.

don't know how long it will last but Washington is off to a much better start tonight, no score for the Astros in the top of the 1st

Turned it off. Not a Washington fan, just wanted to see more baseball. Not much of a match between these two.

One of the neatest things about where I live is you never know who you're going to run into. Went to my local barber this morning for usual. I walked in and set down next to Hakeem Alujuwon. Yes, that Hakeem. He goes to the same shop I've been haunting for years. Anyway he and Clyde Drexler are supposed to be part of the opening ceremonies tonight. Hakeem is one of the most genuine people I've ever met. He's very humble and wants to be treated like everyone else. Go Astros!

Yeah, but down a run now. Hopefully they can score some runs in the bottom of the 6th.

Washington won it pulling away by a score of 7 - 2 .... their third baseman is one heck of a ball player

I commented above about the National's 3rd baseman being a fine ball player ....Ironically...the Nationals third baseman (Anthony Rendon) is from Houston...and still lives in Houston during the off-season... he attended high school in Houston and played baseball at Rice University in Houston...

Strange thing here with this series as neither team could win a home game. So much for home field advantage.
