I have progressive lenses in my glasses that help in the seeing dept. What is left of my hair I use a bar of soap on. I guess when you reach the the point of no return it gets more simple.
+1
No need to read labels when a bar of soap is the only thing in your shower. My haircuts are done with a #1 or #2 blade guard. No sense wasting money on shampoo. 😁

.
I figure with a ton of cans and jars on the shelves they can handle a little bit of direct pull down to get me back up.

So far I've been able to grab hold of a higher shelf and use it to help pull myself back up.

I'm probably not alone on this one.
... when at the store, squatting or kneeling down to look at that bottom shelf; too hard to get back up. Don't know of a trick or fix for that one. :(
Yes, have found myself doing that on occasion, always fearfull of that shelf coming down. ;)

Funny that... brain don't think I'm old. Even moving around vertical don't feel old. But squatting down, getting down on the floor, contortions, etc., that kinda of stuff is tough to do and getting worse.

Memory issues...
Lists...
Big desk calendar like I had at work, "Month at a Glance."
Everything Gets Noted.
We know when we are going to go/do...
We know when we did...
We know when... the gas company filled the tank, blah, blah, blah.
I roll the pages up and save the year together. Amazing how many times it has helped.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Great idea Jim! I used to use those for my desk job. Think I might just pick one up again.

Hey, when tina asks when did we...
I just say, let me look. :)
When was the last time... ;)
I'll have to check. :P

In addition, we both write our appointments on the ONE central calendar, plus we add the to our tablets. The key is that central desk calendar. If someone says, "I told so and so we'd such and such on Friday.

"I can't, I have to do blah blah blah."
" you forgot to pencil it in, and you weren't here, so you'll be doing it by yourself. "

Yup, normally we don't make plans without checking....

This thread had me stopping by Office Max today and picking up my 2020 calendar. I already have notes for the calendar on the bottom of the December page of this year's desk top pad. The Primary Care Doc: "See the nurse on your way out and tell her to set you up a six month follow up..."

Dermatology? "It's looking good, let me see you back same time next year." :|

The service guy when Tina got the oil changed... "The way you guys drive, let's look at either 7,500 miles or, say, six months?" ;)

Yup, have dates to fill in.
