Re: Stanley Cup
I have lived in Boston Bruins land for almost 50 years... high taxes, unfriendly gun laws, and a general disdain for shooters and hunters. My roots are in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. I not a fan of the Patriots or Red Sox preferring the New York Giants and Yankees. However, I am a raving Boston Bruins fan. Even though in the playoffs the Bruins are not yet playing their best hockey of the 18/19 season, they are doing well enough. If you catch one of their games on TV, watch Charlie Coyle who centers their 3rd line, a big, quick Irish kid from a suburb 15 miles south of downtown Boston. He and their hot goalie, Tuuka Rask can carry the Bruins to the Stanley Cup.

Re: Stanley Cup
For sure Rask needs to stay hot if they are to advance.

watching their game with the Columbus Blue Jackets .... he played a key part in the Bruins' second goal
Re: Stanley Cup
I don't watch regular season NHL, but the playoffs are so good. Such great play, both defense and offense, and the play-by-play guys are so smooth for such a fast-moving game. For me, it really helps me follow along, but I'm no hockey expert!
Fun to watch, though!

Re: Stanley Cup
Many years ago....Washington and NYI...I forget how many OT's but it was close to 3 in the morning before it wrapped up. Kelly Hrudey and Pete Peeters were the goalies. Crazy.

Had to give up and go to bed halfway through the first overtime! Glad I chose not to see it through, no matter what, great game it sounds like, but, Yeah, exhausting!

Re: Stanley Cup
the Canes are down 1-0 at the end of the 2nd period .... they lost their goalie early in the 2nd period .... his replacement has played well

Let's hope home ice can do it now!
Did your driver win Jim?
I pretty much chose the hockey route today. Turned my TV toward the screen porch and was able to enjoy the beautiful weather as well!
