The nicest looking handgun I have is my Springfield range officer. It looks great with the stock cocobolo grips, but it lives with a set of Hogue grips that are extremely comfortable and provide better control. Not sure it qualifies as a BBQ gun or not, but it's the prettiest.

Yup, if it's what you would slip on your belt if you would carry to the bar-b-que. I have been to a couple cookouts where I did. Snakes and wild things to be protected from where we were camping and cooking. Everyone had guns, body armor, helmets. Armed helos were on the ground nearby. BBQ guns don't have to be pretty. They can be antiques or unusual/rare.
