Our Morning Coffee and Weather

29 frosty degrees here in the Inland Pacific Northwest with a high in the low 40’s expected and maybe some sunny skies. All in all a perfect early November day for us. Plans were to start my outdoor burning today but between an unexpected 11:00 vet appt and an afternoon visit from a furnace tech I may just wait until tomorrow. Spent the last two cold rainy days in the reloading room. Nice to get back there.

49 degrees and cloudy.
I'm back from the dentist and well satisfied. In the Spring of 2020 I had my teeth extracted
and implants installed. My teeth were soft and just worn out from use. Best thing I ever did
for myself but if any of you are contemplating this just be warned it is a long process. It took
me about a year to be back to normal again after the surgery.

Now, almost four years later the lower plate's snap rings were worn and coming loose. It was
causing me some pain not unlike a tooth ache, so I went in to have them replaced. It took about
half an hour to get an X-Ray to ensure the implants were healed solidly and replace the snap rings.
We then went out to lunch and I had a nice Chicken Parm with no pain at all.

I am posting this just for info in case some of you are thinking about this. It was worth it.

68 or 69° this morning on the dog walk. It got up to 90° this afternoon. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. I went to my cardiologist this afternoon and I've got to go back for an echocardiogram next month. He also upped the BP meds. All is good as I'm still upright.

Morning, we're pretty much at our high for the day, 66° and will start declining around noon.
Cloudy out and raining coming this evening.

Got the deer head back from the taxidermy yesterday. Not sure where he's going yet.

Nice work by your taxidermist Randy, I like those European style mounts. I did that with my moose.

27 cold ones this morning but the sun is starting to peek thru. Probably hit 45 today if Mr. Sun stays with us. Clouds coming in tonight with some light rain but ending around daybreak tomorrow. Yesterday I finally got started on my outdoor burning and even with my late start due to a vet appt. I am please with how much I got done. Heading out here in a few to continue, that fire will feel great with these frosty temps.

Right now it's 83°. Rain is in the forecast for late today and tomorrow. We could use some. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

69 on its way to 82 under a clear, Carolina Blue sky with no chance of rain .... a front is supposed to come through tonight bringing much cooler temps, tomorrow's high predicted to be 66 with some light rain .... with that being the case, we've already hauled our trash and drove to a body shop where we plan to have some work done to our camper .... it appears pretty certain that getting it in and out over there will be interesting .... that's not a good thing ....looks like we will spend some time Sunday getting the camper ready to haul over there and leave it for a few days

A buddy is wanting some deer meat so here I am.

61 degrees this morning with a predicted high only low 70's. Cloudy and looking like we may get some much needed rain. It's is super dry here. I've been slowed down some these last 2 months, but feeling lot better this week. Tea tasting good this morning. Randy, hope you get one. My oldest grandson has done got one with bow.

On TV this morning they're advertising a Lutefisk Dinner at a local restaurant.
No, no, oh hell no. I almost stepped in some once.
Coffee and cookies at once to relieve the shock.
Shop work today but tonight a local church is giving a dinner for vets and spouses. We've
attended before and will again tonight.

35 this morning and thankfully we got the rain overnight as forecast. High in the mid 40’s with partly cloudy skies expected. Tomorrow a wind storm is expected with gusts to 45. I’ll be continuing my outdoor burning today which is why I’m thankful for last nights rain but I’ll be taking tomorrow off with those winds. Last year by this date we had a foot of snow on the ground and it didn’t go away until late spring. Of course more snow fell all winter. Last year on Christmas Day.

It was raining earlier this morning so our dog walk was cut short. The temperatures are falling as well. It's actually a little cooler now at 62° I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. Robyn and I were going to go to the Kingsbury Pioneer Flight Museum tomorrow for their "Fly In" but the weather isn't looking all the great for the event so we'll probably just stay home.

67 this morning a 6:30 with the temp forecasted to fall for the rest of today .... so far its down to 65 at 11AM and should drop to 59 with rain at 3PM .... high tomorrow supposed to be 61 .... our camper is scheduled to go in for some fiberglass work Monday morning so we have to clean out the frig and pack up a few things before then ....

When I was a kid they made Ludefisk at family holiday meals every year. I never tried it, couldn't get past the look and smell but my uncle's loved it. Big farm family from N. Dakota, my mom's parents immigrated from Norway and Denmark sometime in the 1800's as my mom was one of the youngest kids and she was born in 1911.
