It’s 33F and the weatherman is saying we are expected to get 4” of snow today and tonight. I sure hope not. I like winter but this is well into spring.

Sunshine and 75 here today. Going for a bike ride. Supposed to be in the 70's all week.

Upper 50s today with a slight chance of rain. Good friend came over and we did a tune up on the 69 PU. Was a refresher course for us because it had been quite a while since using a timing light and dwell meter. Put all new parts in it and found the timing was a little off and the engine smoothed right out, it was hesitating a little. Still feeling good about the purchase and have a couple of things I want to do yet but.....

We're about the same latitude but you get a lot more snow.
You remind me of the Lil Abner character Joe Smssxx who walks around with that storm
cloud over his head.
We got a little rain and now drizzle, but NO snow.

we awoke to a 63 degree, rainy morning in Central NC ..... thunderstorms are on the way with it supposed to get up to 68 later today .... we plan to drive over to Durham this evening to watch a Durham Bulls baseball game .... if the forecast is correct, the rain over there this morning should move out shortly and they should be able to play the game

Typical Sunday, Mass, visit with the Danes, brunch. I think some of the grandkids are coming down to help GMa with yard work. My bum arm doesn’t work very well, everyone have a great day!

Wow, woke up to 48 and a rising sun. Had my first cup of coffee on the patio for the first time this year. I could get used to this. Yesterday we saw upper 70’s and all day sunshine. More of the same today. Got a lot done on the yard and will finish up today.

Made reservations at a state park near Grand Coulee Dam for next week. Going to get the trailer and boat out to summarize this week. Planning on fishing a lake called Banks Lake which is a huge reservoir created by the Bureau of Reclamation to support irrigation in central Washington State. Never fished it and it is primarily a spiny ray lake but does have a healthy population of trout which will be our target. The reservoir gets its water via huge pumps that pump water from behind the dam.

It was 54° this morning on the dog walk. It's already warmed up to about 70°. I just had some cereal and coffee for breakfast. Just got a push notice that there's a bad accident on the freeway near us. I hope there weren't any fatalities.

Wow, woke up to 48 and a rising sun. Had my first cup of coffee on the patio for the first time this year. I could get used to this. Yesterday we saw upper 70’s and all day sunshine. More of the same today. Got a lot done on the yard and will finish up today.

Made reservations at a state park near Grand Coulee Dam for next week. Going to get the trailer and boat out to summarize this week. I purchased a knife kit from Jantz a while back and made a filet and utility knife for
our youngest daughter. I wasn't sure if she'd want them, but boy did she grab them up
fast. Then her husband, our son in law said something about a Bowie knife, so I ordered
one up and am working on it as well. It will be a surprise for him.
I have some native walnut and that's what I'm shaping the handles with. I'm having fun.

47 degrees and heading to mid 70's. Looks like a nice week ahead. We got 2-1/4" of rain Saturday night.

Another inch of snow last night and a steady 25 mph wind. The temperature is a mild 32F and in four days the high will be in the 60’s and I might do some shooting.

You have guessed correctly Sir Henry. Such a nice state park with full hookups and nice lawn areas. Most state parks around here are no hookups and just dirt or natural vegetation. Here’s a pic of the rock that the park gets its name from.

Woke up this morning to open doors and a nice breeze coming in. (Wife up before me) Last night it was hot in the house when we went to bed and when I got up while it was 48 outside it was 73 in the house. Time to switch from heat to ac I guess. Today’s high in 73 but it’s been in the 80’s the last few days. Heading here shortly over to my son’s place to help with some fencing. He “should” have the remaining post set and we will be pulling wire (field fence) today. Hope so!

We are living parallel lives Hatch! My son put in the last posts on a section of my fencing yesterday while I welded new box sides and rockers into his Tacoma. I will be running the rest of the wire this morning.

We went fishing for a few hours yesterday, but got nothing. Again. I’m beginning to think there are no fish in our lake, although my neighbor pulled a 9 lb rainbow out a few weeks ago. Tight lines amigo!
