Our Morning Coffee and Weather

[Hatchdog]

38 when I got up and a few degrees warmer now. Thin cloud layer that is supposed to turn to a heavy layer with rain and possible thunderstorms. According the the future cast map most of the rain should miss us. We’ll see about that. Planning on a roast in the crock pot just in case.

Mrs. Hatchdog and I got a lot done in the yard yesterday and we’ll be back at it today. There’s a chance of mid 70’s next weekend and I’m thinking about taking the boat out for a cruise. There’s going to be some sunburns amongst the winter white skin around here.

Look….here’s the last of my snow, good riddance.

64° and thunderstorms in the area. I was going to try and get to the range today with my son but unfortunately the weather has dictated a day at home. I cooked sausage, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Can’t do much, tripped and fell, now I’m in a sling, have to go to orthopedics next week. I think every bone in my body hurts. So today it’s mass and a visit with the Danes. Everyone have a great day!

I'm taking Carol to the Mayo in Rochester this morning. She has some concerns and she's going to get a check up. I'm praying it's nothing serious. They'll run the tests today but we won't know the results for a few days.

Today is everyone's favorite thing to do day. Jury Duty. Doesnt make much sense to me anymore since they let them out faster than they put them in.

Best to Carol and BRM, my wife did a similar event Saturday. She had me remove three big decorative grasses from the front of the house leaving the holes for the replacements. Later she was out there working on a vine in the same location and stepped backwards into one of the holes and took a tumble. She’s very sore and a bit bruised and scraped up. I tried to explain to her that had she not bothered me to remove the grasses she would had not taken that spill. Needless to say she didn’t think that was very funny.

Around here is was a damp 42 when I got up. Had a nice soaking rain yesterday and a heavy but short downpour overnight. Everything around here is greening up nicely.

Leaving here shortly for a run to the nursery to get the plants that will end up in those wife injuring holes and also a stop into Costco. Probably going to have more rain this afternoon so the planting may have to wait until tomorrow. There’s talk of seeing the mid 70’s this weekend.

Well, we're back from the Mayo. She won't know the results for a few days yet.
The Mayo has changed quite a bit. Big surprise, no more masks. About time.
Also the Sherriff has security checkpoints as you go in. They saw my VN Vet cap and passed me
right through but searched Carol's purse. I guess she looked more like a terrorist than I do.
There were also lots of volunteers directing folks and answering questions. It was a nice atmosphere.
