Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
My sidewalk is shoveled to my van and that’s it. It really gets deep behind the van and I can’t move it.
I sure hope I can shoot and make a range report soon.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
37°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed E 9 mph
Barometer 29.88 in
Rain showers and slight chance of thunderstorms in the morning, then chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Highs in the mid 40s. East winds 15 to 20 mph with gusts to around 35 mph.
Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Doc put me on anti biotics yesterday and gave me another prescription for comfort. I slept well last night.
Ahh, a rainy day. We do need the rain. I'll work in the shop. I purchased a couple more knife kits to work on.

Woke up to 22, it’s April 19th for crying out loud. High could be 52 which I will appreciate as today is golf day. Teeing off at 9:20 so it will probably be all the way up to the mid 30’s by then. Can’t wait to bitch about the heat in August.

Gene,
You may have to install heating cables under your driveway.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was warmer this morning in the mid to upper 60's. Right now it's 74°. It's supposed to get up to about 81° this afternoon. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. No work to do but I do have a doctor's appointment later this afternoon.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
another cool but beautiful morning in the low 40's in Central NC .... its already up to 86 under beautifully clear, Carolina Blue Sky which they say will be our high for the day .... first up this morning was a 50 +/- mile round trip for a medical appointment with our ENT physician .... as always seems to be the case, one such appointment leads directly to booking test and followup appointments .... one of our sons needs to borrow our Chevy pickup so once we got back home we hauled of our trash .... I'll drive over to the Ford dealership where his truck will be undergoing a recall ..... NO I don't know anything about the nature of the recall .... YES I couldn't resist making a few comments about him being very fortunate to have a dependable Chevy that he can drive at times like this ..

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I could have cleared it with my tractor except I parked the van and Subaru in front of the garage and can’t move to get the tractor out. Poor planning on my part.

Overcast, 37°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed E 6 mph
Barometer 29.76 in
Rain showers and chance of thunderstorms.
Highs in the mid 40s.
East winds 5 to 10 mph shifting to the north 5 to 15 mph in the afternoon.
Gusts up to 30 mph. Chance of precipitation near 100 percent.
Well, it's Spring. April showers and all.
Today I'm going to the state Capitol to lobby for money to help our Legion Post
build an apartment complex with a heavy veteran's preference. I'm on the Holding
Corp and this has been three years in the planning but the interest rates keep
going up and now we need help. So far it looks promising.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
our string of beautiful mornings in central NC continue .... 53 now on its way to 88 later today ..... we are going camping with our club over the weekend so (naturally) rain and heavy thunderstorms are on the way for Saturday .... shortly I plan to go out to ready our truck and camper .... there isn't anything major that needs to be taken care of, mostly just packing things away that have been taken our and used since our last trip
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Windy & rainy today and not as warm as the last few days. Spring cleaning the cabinets and the work bench. Everyone have a great day!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I was able to get my Subaru down and back up the driveway. I’m surprised it could move through a foot of slush like it did. My housekeeper comes today and I know she can’t make it up so I’ll wait at the bottom and help her carry things up the hill.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I had a Subaru Brat back in the day. Those things are amazing in what they can go through.
We have a housekeeper too. What a luxury. Carol works all day I didn't retire to clean the house.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It's 75° and headed to the lower 80's before we get thunderstorms in the late afternoon and evening. I took the Harley to my doctor's appointment in the medical center of Houston. Big mistake. my appointment was at 3:30 in the afternoon and didn't think it would take long. Well, as you know doctors don't run on schedule and that put me riding back in afternoon rush hour traffic. It took me just over an hour to get home covering the 16.5 miles from my home. It was in the mid 80's and the heat from the motor was ironing the back of my pant legs. Anyway, all is good and I got home safely. I'll know not to do that again. I just had cereal, coffee and toast for breakfast.
