Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
68 here this morning and headed to 71. Went to a gun show yesterday with one of the other guys here in the park. 8.00 to get in and look at every ones way overpriced stuff. Saw Unique powder for 55 and 60 a lb. Primers 180.00 a thousand. Ruger Wranglers were 400.00 on one table. Got a peak at one with the 7.5 inch barrel. Don’t think I want one anymore as it doesn’t feel good in my hand. Today maybe a bike ride

I have a problem with big shows of ANY kind where you have to pay to get in, to hopefully buy their goods!BigAl52 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 26, 2023 9:23 am68 here this morning and headed to 71. 20 with a steady snow falling. Low 30’s later and the expected snowfall is 2-4 inches. Then another storm Monday night into Tuesday with similar amounts. Ole man winter has returned. Not much this morning but if the snow stops around noon as expected I’ll spend the afternoon moving snow. I’m ready for spring and yard work. Okay, maybe not yard work but I am ready for spring.
BigAl, those gunshow prices are down right stupid. I haven’t been to a gun show since before Covid but from what i read on the local trader site the prices around here are similar. There’s a local guy who just posted CCI Small Pistol regular and mag for $70.00. Still way higher than a few years ago but better than the $100 normally listed around here and that raping at the show you attended.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was a mild 65° this morning on the dog walk. It's currently 82° at about 1:30 p.m. One of the dogs, Lilly Pooh, wasn't feeling well last night and made life miserable for everyone. I finally got her settled down after lots of TLC and concluded she was acting like another beagle we had. That dog, Katie, had to be on lasix and vetmedin. Robyn takes lasix so we gave her 1/2 pill and her condition improved dramatically. We'll take her to the vet tomorrow and see what's going on. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Minnesota, 30°F, 100%, Barometer 29.33 in
Rain and sleet before 4pm, then a slight chance of rain between 4pm and 5pm. High near 36.
East wind 10 to 15 mph becoming northwest in the afternoon.
Chance of precipitation is 90%. Little or no sleet accumulation expected.
Alamogordo, 34°F, Humidity 41%,Barometer 30.05 in
Sunny, with a high near 59. North wind 6 to 11 mph becoming south southwest in the afternoon.
We experienced our first dust storms yesterday. There were wind gusts up to74 mph.
The sand from the white sands area saturated the air and we laid low. In the afternoon Carol
took all the fixing and we went to visit my old friend one more time and she made dinner for
him. It has been a good visit.
Today we move to Casa Grande, AZ.

63 earlier this morning, but now almost 8:00, it’s already 68. Looks like a nice day ahead. Plan to get out and spray the yard for first time this year.

51 on its way to 67 with showers around, back to shorts and sandals .... next three days prediction calls for temps in the 70's for the next three days .... a most welcome Orthopedic appoint after lunch to get a shot in my right knee .... new glasses have arrived, hope to pick them up on the way get the shot .... history says the new glasses should have an instantaneous positive impact and the knee shot should have very positive impact within a day or so
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
15 when I got up heading to 34. Looks like some patches of blue sky right now and we are expecting some sunshine today. After yesterdays 3” of snow we are expecting another 2-5” tonight into tomorrow. Tomorrow’s commute could be ugly but thankfully I won’t be part of it.
Might clean up the garage today or I might not.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Don't know what it was earlier in the day but it's now 74°. I had an early appointment at the dentists for my teeth cleaning. I had a nice ride on the Harley there and back. I really like this weather for riding. It gets too damn hot in the summers to ride down here. Think of temps radiating off the roads well over 100° bouncing all around you while riding. Anyway, I just had cereal, toast and coffee this morning.

Good morning and the last day of Feb., and believe it or not I have to werk today.
It's 48 now and looking at 76 later, if I didn't have to move the work trailer this morn,
I'd take the ole scooter.
