19 now with a high of 38 later. Sunny with a light overcast defusing the sun somewhat. Not much on tap today other than a trip to Costco. We hit it once a month and stock up on coffee and other high consumption items. Now that I’m out of firewood I might do the big spring cleaning of the wood stove. Of course now that I’m out of wood the weather is taking another turn to old temps. Next week we may see highs below freezing and lows in the low teens.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I know that feeling. My sympathies to you.

Forgot to hit submit so I’m a little late;
Went to big city where Mrs. B went to Beauty shop. I went to do all the other errands while in town.

OKC this morning.
20°F, Humidity 78%, Barometer 30.45 in (1032.5 mb)
Sunny, with a high near 49. Light and variable wind becoming west southwest 5 to 8 mph in the morning.
Home in Minnesota
0°F, Humidity 78%, Barometer 30.28 in
Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 27. Wind chill values as low as -13.
Breezy, with a south southwest wind 5 to 10 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
Well, OKC is cold, but not as cold as it is at home.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Sorry to hear about your mishap Coop! It was 37° with 15 mph winds and gusts to, probably, around 30. The high today will be in the mid-50's with a busy day with clients and trying to get the sis-in-law up in her wheelchair for doctor appointments. It's always a fiasco getting her ready. She complains about everything. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee.

Off to the big city for prescription pickup and a Dr. appointment. Wife, Daughter, daughter-in-law, and 3 granddaughters are off to Sioux Falls for Blake Shelton concert and some shopping. So this weekend it is just me and Phil the bulldog. Mrs. B left a pretty big honeydo list so I will stay busy. Everyone have a great day

Woke up to a balmy 31 this morning but due to a heavy overcast the high won’t be as nice as the last few days. But it’s possible the sun will peek out for a little bit later or so the weather dude said.
Made a Costco trip yesterday and they had a shelf unit in stock that I have been waiting for. We have four in the basement and I wanted to match them but Costco has been out every time I have looked. Bingo! So today I’ll assemble it and finish the basement organizing that halted due to lack of shelf space.
Just another day of exciting on the edge living here in Deer Park.
PS My wife just asked me what I was typing and I told her just the morning coffee and weather. I said, “just a bunch of old folks doing their Facebook thing”.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
currently 64 on its way to 67 with bands of rain moving through .... Accuweather say the next will start in 9 min .... my plans to continue working on our daughter's camper and to setup a place in the garage to setup an air compressor have been put on hold
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently 34 and blue skies high today of 58. Setting 4×4 posts for a carport off the garage and hopefully get the Golden boy out for a bit.

Bummer Coop. It’s my biggest fear too to blemish my new van.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:05 amWe're in Oklahoma City this morning. 28 degrees and partly cloudy with gusty winds.
At home its 12 degrees and windy.
We'll spend three nights here de-winterizing and resting. We've been here many times and feel almost at home.
Coffee and cookies were just fine this morning.
I am horrified to say that while trying to get into a propane pump yesterday I sideswiped a post that was protecting some pumps
with the motor home. I was concentrating on not hitting my right mirror against a chain link fence while the left was scrapping
the post. In my 64 years of driving I have never been so careless. Everything still works but it looks terrible.

25F and cloudy. Still no real snow to speak of. We did have a couple of days of snowy roads this week, my new Jeep is a tank on slick roads.

My new AWD van makes it up my hill just fine. It snowed on Wednesday when we left Wisconsin and it got around great. I’m sure your 4WD would do better in deep snow.RanchRoper wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 9:20 am25F and cloudy. Still no real snow to speak of. Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up to 31 and a heavy overcast sky. High is supposed to be around 40. I’m missing the sunny days we have been having lately. We are still on track for a winter blast next week but the weather folks are starting to back off on the snow accumulation. Now they are saying 1-4” but hopefully it will be more in the mountains. Our above average snow pack is now below average. Haven’t had any melt off but we haven’t had additional accumulation so now we are behind.
Not much planned for today other than watching the Gonzaga men’s basketball game at 4 pm. Probably do a steak and bake dinner as the game time disrupts dinner fixing. Let the spuds bake durning the game and do a quick grill of the steaks when the game is over. Go Zags.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was 36° on the dog walk this morning. Currently it's 51° with a warming trend next week. I made bacon, pancakes, and coffee for breakfast.
