Mostly sunny here today: the low was 9 and expected high is 36; it’s currently 31. Just collecting eggs and finishing cleanup of workbench. Everyone have a great day!🇺🇸

No Ring at my place for the exact reason Mags commented on. Im not paying for a subscription so I can see my house running on my electricity and cameras paid for out of my pocket. I have 4 hard wired they record for 12 hours over and over. They work fine for what I wanted. Yes you can get a cloud sub. for 30 days with a fee. Not me. Its windy windy here today and 62 but none of that Minnesota liquid on the ground around here.

Oh Yeah! Well, well, well we don't have sand in out beds around here, so take that smarty.

Simpli Safe works really well for us. It monitors the house via smoke, temperature and movement while we're gone. Also
if anyone opens an out side door or breaks a window it sets off the alarm as well. It will beep our phones and if we don't respond
will send for the police or fire department on it's own. We have four cameras that we can access from anywhere to see what's going
on.
A few years back we were asleep in OKC and the service called us and said our house was at 40 degrees and it was 15 below outside.
Our furnace had quit but we were able to call friends and get it repaired quickly. I figure that saved the cost of the equipment many
times over in not having broken pipes.

27°F, Humidity 64%, Barometer 30.13 in, Sunny, with a high near 42.
Southwest wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Looks to be a nice day with warm winds.
The motorhome goes to town today for diesel and propane.
The next week looks to be warmer than normal.
Coffee, cookies.

our all too brief spring has gone and much cooler temps are rolling in .... 48 on its way to 57 with rain moving in late today that is expected to hang around until late tomorrow .... our 6 year old grandson spent the night with us .... as noted in another thread, we'd just let him out at his school when we were in a wreck that totaled my wife's Camaro .... the decision was made to not let him know about the accident until his mother picked him up after school .... it hit him pretty hard and he's been anxious about it every since .... hopefully things will begin to settle down for him

It was 37 this morning on the dog walk. High should be somewhere in the 50's. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Dang, woke up to 17 but we should see 41 later. According to the weatherman Spokane is fogged in but here at my place it’s clear and sunny. Watched the sun rise through the trees and it was wonderful. Not much on tap for today but it will be a nice day for a hike with the dog.

I've given up watching the half time show

Because I like football and enjoy the commercials, the best time to take a break is during the usually awful halftime show.

You can bet the string of junk halftime shows will continue. Why not George Strait and Alan Jackson at halftime. Mid 50's here on the gulf and already sitting on 63 with bright sunshine. We are headed to one of the other sites later for the game. Im going for the Tacos, beer and visiting with some good people who share a very common interest. Guns. When gun talk can be done who cares about football.

19 heading to 41 and sunny. There is a storm coming in overnight and tomorrow is supposed to be rainy/snowy but no accumulation to speak of. Then the rest of the week is supposed to be nice but on the cool side. The wood stove is burning brightly with the last of my firewood. Today will be the end of it. I have a couple cords ready to be split and stacked for next year but it’s not cured enough for this year. Just gonna have to suck it up and bump up the thermostat.

Going next door for the game along with a couple of other neighbors. Should be fun as the drinks and food will be flowing. I have no dog in the fight so I really don’t care who wins and I sure hope to miss the halftime show. Good time to run home and check on the dog.

It was 38° on the dog walk earlier this morning. Right now, it's 57°warming nicely. Robyn's birthday was yesterday, and she worked all day so we're going out for lunch at here favorite restaurant later. I just had hot cereal, toast and coffee this morning for breakfast.
