-45 builds character. A couple degrees colder would take all the fun out though.
It was only 22LR I mean -22F here. Not as much fun as your 45 ACP I mean -45F.

A bit cooler this morning at 36° but it's supposed to warm up nicely in the afternoon. At least we don't have the cloud cover that lasted the full work week. I just had cereal, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Sorry for all you folks back east and down south suffering with this arctic blast. We had it a couple of weeks ago but not to the same extreme you are suffering.

Today I woke up to 34. Didn’t even build a fire in the stove as I’m almost out of firewood and we expect lows next week back into the teens. High should be in the low 40’s but the earlier promised sunshine is now history. Overcast with a drizzle coming down.

All in all not too bad of a day to hit the range. I’m planning on shooting three handguns and will post a report later. Also meeting a guy to buy a pound of CFE BLK to try when I get my new AR.

Mostly cloudy today: the low was 12 and the expected high is 40; the current temperature is 29. Finally got out of the negative temperatures. Think I’ll go over to the big city and go to a gun show, just to get out the house not looking for anything but you never know. Everyone have a great day!🇺🇸

50° and a bit foggy on the dog walk. The sun is out now and clear skies at 56°. I went to start the Harley and got the old click-grind-click so have it on the battery charger. I guess I let it sit too long. I cooked eggs, bacon, toast and coffee this morning.

Foggy this morning, partly cloudy today: a low of 19 and a high of 33; currently it is 22. Not much on schedule today, a Skype with the Great Danes and probably some work on the train towns and maybe a nap. Everyone have a great day!🇺🇸

34 now and that was our overnight temp too. Second morning in a row that I woke up to above freezing temps. I’m liking that. Rainy day today with some much needed moisture, January has been pretty dry. Not much going on today other than cleaning guns from yesterday and putting the gear away.

45 as this is being typed with rain moving in .... according to the weather shown on a local station its raining now but looking out, that ain't so .... the biggest plus is a forecast for the mid to late week to have highs near 70 .... sure hope that proves to be right ....regular breakfast with plenty of Folgers ..... I've got to get busy cleaning up our camp stove and other equipment used in steaming oysters yesterday

OK JE, now you've done it. My Wife and I love steamed oysters and of course you can't get them here in the land of fresh water.

Good Monday morning!!!!!
36 degrees, clear and a bright moon - going to 57 degrees!
No coffee this morning, have a 0800 appt that involves anesthesia so my coffee/tea and any other sustenance will have to wait a bit today.

Have a weapon light I might be putting on my wife's Bersa Thunder this afternoon, not sure yet, may look for a sticky holster for the combo first.
