Agreed. I've posted about that very topic in this thread. In one of my all-time favorite movies, Silverado (see my picture above my name) they do use at least one authentic Henry rifle with an engraved receiver. In other cases they try to pass off a Winchester yellow boy with a removed fore-end as a Henry. The thought is the Winchesters were easier to use because the tab in the Henry mag tube got in the way.

Watching Westworld tonight on HBO and one of the characters had a mare's leg in a holster on his back. It had a large loop lever very much like Sir Henry's avatar. Sure looked like a Henry.

We're watching it, too. It's an intriguing storyline, switching between the lives of the robots and humans. I've seen some brass receiver rifles used in the show that look like Henrys, too.

We've also started watching "Wanted Dead or Alive" with Steve McQueen on Xfinity's On-Demand. I never saw it as a kid, so it's all new. We're loving it.

I like Tom Sellick's movies, his guns are usually authentic for the story. ;)

For sure he does! My revolver is the same cartridge conversion he uses in Last Stand at Saber River. I love it that he gets it right.

The bullets come right out the front of that long pipe!

Ok, it is great. It kicks some, but with some pointers from TGR who's shot a zillion bullets so far in his lifetime, I am working on getting on target. The rear sight is a notch in the hammer as the original 1860 Colt Army was, so it takes a little getting used to, but GREAT fun to shoot.

Watched Last Stand at Saber River last night, and the is some nice Henry action. Tom Selleck's is a nice engraved one and a couple of other characters have them too. They are likely Ubertis. Good movie!
