Sorry for your loss especially so close to both her birthday and Mother’s Day. I lost my mom of 83 years almost six years ago. I was just reflecting earlier this morning that other than my youngest brother’s mother in law we have no mothers of that generation left. Including aunts too.dasmoeturhead wrote: ↑Thu May 05, 2022 10:38 am54° and rain in Eureka CA. Got in yesterday, and this morning my Brother and I are going to the funeral home. It's strange being home without Mom scurrying around trying to make sure everyone is comfortable. Lots to do here. Not sure if I'll be here a week or months. It's a big house with 50 or so years of accumulation of life. Thanks for everyone's support. Means a lot.
Woke up to 49 earlier and had rain overnight. Left early for a doc appointment for my wife and drove into a heavy rain in Spokane. Now it’s raining pretty good here at home and my lawn is loving it. Other than a few “put always” from yesterdays boat outing I’m thinking I may just ride the recliner for the rest of the day.
