Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
another beautiful day in central NC, pretty much a copy of yesterday .... regular breakfast followed by getting our old smoker ready to haul to the dump .... watching a grandson's "coach pitch" baseball practice this afternoon will be about it for today
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another really windy day here. I was going to go out and work in the yard but the wind is really blowing hard and the temps are in the mid 50's. Really tired of the wind.

Yup, 70 degrees here but really strong wind blowing. I'm tired of the wind as well.

No wind down under
Mild fall for us so far, daytime temps around 70 and nights in the 40's. No frosts yet, cleaning up the veggie patch yesterday, tomatoes are still flowering and still picking strawberries.
48 at sunrise and a max temp of 75 predicted for today.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coffee be excellent this morning . Cow working day yesterday went fabulous. My sons work partner, ( a construction business) came and helped and he is by far the best hand we have ever had help. We finished in record time, everything went smooth as silk. So today is good in my little corner of the brush... no pressing jobs, no Russian bullets to dodge (yet) .... I shall be happy and appreciative of a quiet day. Best to all of you out there in the big wide world...
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Was 80 yesterday so I took advantage of the weather to swap the snowblower with the mower deck. Washed the motor then fully charged the battery. Did a run up and down the lot to check and everything seems fine. I very nearly bought a zero turn mower last Friday but managed to back off for a while longer. This will work for another year.
70º right now and falling temps with rain and winds coming this afternoon. Maybe I can get a mow in before it hits. Mushroom season is here. Sir Henry you might be finding some early morels on your new property if you look closely.

56° and sunny, going to 83°. Yesterday we tied the record at 87° 1st cup of coffee is working, sausage eggs and toast for breakfast. Yesterday was yard maintenance in the morning. Still got pretty hot while watering. Took my pal Indy Boy (toy fox terrier ) for a ride in the side by side around Boone lake. He loves it. He'll be 15 in July. Have a nice Sunday. Cheers!

31 heading to probably the upper 50’s. Looks to be a sunny day that is supposed to continue into tomorrow. Monday night into Tuesday comes a cold front with rain and of course Tuesday is the day we are taking our shakedown cruise and delivery of our new boat. Looks like we will be able to check out the canvas top for leaks.
Today I’m going to pull the mower deck off and power wash it and sharpen the blades. Put fertilizer on the lawn Friday so I expect the grass will start to green up and get long.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Sounds like a busy day Hatch! Made bacon, flapjacks and coffee this morning. It's already 78° so will be close to 90° today. Got to work on clients instruments so I have time for the range later in the week.

37 and looking at the upper 50’s later with rain coming in overnight.
Didn’t get the mower deck done yesterday so that will be the start of my day. Picked up another several hundred pine cones yesterday, sure hope those suckers quit coming down. Got a huge pile just waiting for the next time I burn.

Another dreary day although they say we may see some sun this afternoon.
Folgers and cookies.
I really didn't do squat yesterday although I did visit my buddy's diesel shop where a bunch of
friends were gathered over pizza and shooting the bull. That was fun.
He's getting our motor home in next week for some maintenance.
