Seemed only us tourist were on the beach! Stayed most of the time in North Port but
made it to Venice Beach, Caspersen Beach and Punta Gorda! Had to come back to Detroit
for some sun!! Still had a great time!
On our way to Venice Beach.

First and only 'coffee' post on Wednesday for me?
Thanks for posting the pics on vacation, ace.
I'm enjoying a cup of coffee while fighting off this cold. Busy day at the office ahead....

I've never before chatted with anyone who is a "storm chaser."
Glad you got to sun tan in Detroit!
Very nice photos...they captured well the unusual beauty of incoming stormy weather.

Good morning all from Jonesboro, GA. Back from the Jamaican trip and could not be happier to be.....well....nah, really I would rather be sitting on the beach, watching the waves, and having someone bring me coffee in the morning and Crown &Ginger the rest of the day!!!! Seriously, good to be home. No rain since I left. My yard looks as though someone burned it why we were gone! No rain in the forecast for another 3 to 5 days, and temps are remaining in the high 80's to low 90's. I now have to catch up on posts.

Good morning all. Enjoying some coffee before heading into the office. Looks like it may cool off today here in Irvine. Mid 70s and some clouds. Should be a nice day.

Good morning all, hot here, that's all, just plain hot and humid. Dew point up around 73. It can't end soon enough for me. Supposed to change by the middle of next week, hopefully for good, this year.

Rain over night, most likely from the Gulf Coast tropical storm. 1-1/2" in the rain gauge. The flowers have perked up and are smilin' this morning.
I'm enjoying my double mocha out of my Henry mug, of course.
Have a great day!

Good morning all from Jonesboro, GA. It is 74 degree, no rain in the forecast, and another day of cooking my yard. Drinking coffee from the Henry mug this morning. Hopefully, today will be a great day for all. Take care and be safe.

Good morning all... Another beautiful day in Southern California. Just checked my citrus trees and the leaves are drooping again. Need to water these guys since it hasn't rained in a few months. Could really use a good rain here!

Warm and sticky the last few days. I'm not gonna complain though, it will be cold soon enough !!
I'm wanting a little cooler weather, I have not got any firewood ready yet, and got a bunch to cut and split next door.
But there's no shade where the logs are sitting, so next cool day w/time and help.... GET 'ER DONE !!

Very pleasant temp this morning here in KCMO. Just went out on the patio to put some birdseed in the feeder, and enjoyed a cool 58*.

Had about 1/2" rain overnight, too. Perfect temp for me....sure wish I could get to the range this morning. But Saturday morning chores beckon....
Have a great weekend, Everybody!

Same here. Can't wait for the humidity to break. It's brutal. Coffee, house cleaning on the plate for today. How about you?

Morning all. Cutting my grass for the last time this year today. Tomorrow it's going to be in the 40's with snow flurries by nightfall. Summers over. Checked post office for my handgun license yesterday, nothing yet. Should be here next week. Long wait since June 12th! Tea time now. Have a safe weekend.
Ps; it's Henry cleaning day too. Always a good time!

Your dog is adorable. I don't think mine would enjoy a boat ride. She hates water ever since she fell into a pool.

We had a good rain last night and I just cut the grass. So glad that a cold front is to move in tonight. I'll be watching college football today and may do some shopping.
