The game to watch today, and I suspect it will be the game of the week on Fox, is Dallas @4:30 EST.

I get to just relax this week with a Raiders bye.

I just got back from the Eagles game in Philadelphia, they beat the Falcons 25 to 15. But it was a good game in that you didn't know who was going to win until about the last two minutes. But it is a long day. We left at 6:30 this morning and got back at 8:30pm. A lot of walking involved and the usual traffic jam on the streets leaving the stadium and on interstate 95. But, we know it will be that way from doing this for many years. 69,000 people is a lot of traffic. My son has a gas grill that he hooks up to the back of his Ford Expedition and other friends bring food and beer too. We had venison stew, wings that were not spicy, just smoked, Italian bread, ring bologna, chips and pretzels and three or four kinds of beer. The Marine Corps silent drill team performed at halftime. The next game that I will be going to is with the Redskins in December, if I am up to it.

Lions had a bye week....looks like everyone in our division lost so we end up in first place!
Re: Are you ready for some Football 2016 Thread
The Steelers best week was their bye week as well. The only game they didn't lose in the last few weeks.ace73 wrote:Lions had a bye week....looks like everyone in our division lost so we end up in first place!

I'll admit that I fell asleep before the end of the game! But I'm glad they won!

It came down to about ten seconds left in the game before we won it. No way could I look away.ace73 wrote:Sir Henry wrote:The Seahawks sure looked good Sunday Night.

I have two favorite teams Colts and whomever is playing the Patriots. Season ticket holder here and it's been rough, had to drink a lot of beer to watch some of our games. Play Tennessee Sunday, and right back on Thanksgiving watching the Colts play the Steelers. A lot of football in a short period.

Re: Are you ready for some Football 2016 Thread
I am a former Colts season ticket holder. Loved the games, just getting to old for that 13-14 hour game day with driving so far. Just went to Green Bay with my son-in-law to watch that last win. But a little deflated about that after the Titans beat Green Bay by 22. Titans game next Sunday is going to be crucial, as are all of their remaining games. They wasted too many opportunities at the beginning of the season.starrider wrote:I have two favorite teams Colts and whomever is playing the Patriots. Lions looked good today!
Also, my Steelers finally stopped their losing streak! They had to play the Browns to do so but whatever.

I'll have to admit that I was a little nervous for the Steelers! I remember over the years the last place Browns beating
the first place Steelers!
I'm also hoping that the Lions won't be the only team to go 0-16!!

Re: Are you ready for some Football 2016 Thread
ace73, I'm worried about Thanksgiving Day. Your Steelers have proved they can beat the Colts in Indianapolis (playoffs with the Mike Vandershank field goal attempt among others) and both teams really need the win to stay in the playoff hunt in their respective divisions.

The Steelers have a chance to win their terrible division. They will need to win all of the three remaining division games most likely plus another one or two. I suppose it's possible.
