The last time I was in Minnesota the fire froze.

Well we had our 1 inch of snow yesterday and now in the freezer today with high around 37. More snow for the weekend. Ready for Spring now!

18 here with drizzle. Supposed to have a little snow over the weekend.
Should hit the high twenties today.
OK, the fast is over. Now we'll see if I killed the yeast infection.
Taking no chances I am starting off the breakfast with a hard boiled egg and some berries.
Then I have two COOKIES!!!
Folgers still has almond milk. You know, it's really not too bad.

43 this morning at 6. Got plenty to do today. Had eggs,bacon, toast, and coffee.

Well, compared to Alberta and New Hampshire it’s a very warm and pleasant 30 degrees here at home. Looks like we could be heading to the upper 30’s but currently we’re in a thick fog so that may keep the temps down.

We are making a trip to Coeur d’alene Idaho this morning and I plan to stop into my favorite gun shop there to check on “stuff”. Sometimes I get lucky and sometimes not. On the way home we will be stopping into my LGS here in good ole’ Deer Park for me to bail my Ruger Gunsite out of layaway jail.

It’s going to be a great day indeed.

Got my wife an appointment for Saturday to get her Covid shot which was a minor miracle in itself.

Carol absolutely refused to get the shot. She's read all the stuff online and is afraid of it. I told her we won't
be going south unless she gets it to no avail. Stubborn woman.

Coop, tell Carol I had my first one a little over a week ago, and had no issues whatsoever. Shot didn't hurt, not sore afterward.

Had quite a discussion over lunch today, she'd rather get the virus than the shot. I simply cannot convince her.

Pretty good day today...warmed up to 35F, got more percussion caps coming, VTI Gun Parts is shipping the 2 rifle parts they short shipped me, picked up more powder and primers, and Alberta opens up restaurants and lots of other stuff again on the 8th.

It's 45° and looks like rain in a bit.

20s here with sleet. Supposed to sleet till afternoon and then change to snow. They say a couple inches.
Hopefully that will blanket the ice. Snow is much easier to drive on than ice.
With February coming up we can now kiss the sub zero temps goodbye, usually anyway, and look foreword to warmer temps
with more wet snow.
I've been on a high protean diet for a month and am now off it. This morning I plan a bowl of cereal with milk and
sugar accompanied with Folgers and cookies.
I was at 192 the first of June, then had oral surgery and implants done. Then at Christmas the Candida came along,
so, I am at 170 this morning. Since I hate to throw anything away I have a whole wardrobe waiting for me if I lose
another 10 pounds.
For any of you who are perhaps contemplating implants, be aware that it takes months of adjustments to dial them
in to the point that you are once again normal. I think I am finally getting to that point. The problem is that once
the teeth are removed your jaw bones shrink and adjust causing the plates to be constantly adjusted to keep up.
BTW, if an implant comes loose they have a tiny ratchet wrench, that actually is a torque wrench, that they use
to screw them tight again. No, it doesn't hurt at all. Just kinda strange.

I look at your temps and think that's pretty warm for Evans, Co, but then remember that you're not at home.

65 on its way to 69 later today .... heavy overcast, misting rain, showers supposed to move in this afternoon .... with the forecast calling for it to be sunny tomorrow, we plan to pack up in preparation for moving to our next campground on Monday .... regular breakfast of eggs, sausage, sliced tomato with Folgers still flowing .... quick grocery run on tap .... afterwards, we plan to settle in, put on a dehydrator full of Jerky, make Cowboy Caviar and take it easy .... watching 100 Rifles with Jim Brown, Raquel Welch and Burt Reynolds
