Just read that ole Rowdy is tearing up the track down there in Tejas this weekend.
Won the truck race Friday night, and
the xfinity race yesterday.
Gonna be a little tougher today, but maybe he'll manage.

GO! ROWDY!!

Kyle has done it before. I think he has swept a weekend twice in the past. I wouldn't put it past him. Should be fun.

Another Gibbs car wins it.

Congrats to Denny Hamlin.

Johnson salvaged a 5th place.

Kyle Busch was looking fine, till his car got too loose and salvaged a 10th.

Had to settle for 2 out of 3 this week-end.

and the good news is, Darrell Waltrip to retire from FOX booth following 19-year run .... I was not a fan of his when he was a driver and he's one of my least favorite announcers

Not afraid to say that I'm a big fan of DW and I hate to see him go.

The guy has 50 years of racing experience, 3 Championships, 84 Wins and is a wealth of knowledge.

He's somewhat "corny" but that never bothered me. I've enjoyed all of his great years on Fox.

And even though Jr is on the NBC team now, there is no comparison to the Fox team which DW is a big part of. If they don't produced a powerful replacement, Fox may become as dull as NBC, in my opinion anyway.

Been to Bristol three times, heck of a place to watch a race.

Everyone should visit Bristol at least once.

The track is so special, that I don't know why no one else has ever tried to duplicate it.

Would be a whole lot better than a cookie-cutter track, but that said, I'm glad Bristol stands alone.

its been that way every since the second year after they repaved the trick .... they improved the race surface which took away the bumping and banging that Bristol was known for .... since then even NASCAR has acknowledged that the fan base for Bristol has dropped

Yep... at 100 laps to go not even a tire mark or racers tape holding a fender on.
Just wipe the cars down and head to Richmond.....boring.

I use to go to several NASCAR races back in the 70's up thru the 90's.

What a Race !!

Damaged car and all Kyle Busch wins it.

Thought those Penske boys had it won, but that last caution changed everything.

Kyle didn't pit and I questioned that move, but it sure did work.

Where were you at?

There were plenty of damaged cars.

Darrell Waltrip said pre race that Kyle Bush is the most exciting driver he's ever seen. I agree. I've been watching him for years, ever since he wrecked every race he ran. Mr. 110% they said could never win. Well, he finally got it together.

He is not only a very talented driver, he is an opportunist. Every opening he sees he goes for. He will take chances that anyone else would fail at. He always puts on a show.

Well must have missed it! When I was watching not much happening. Too good of a sunny warm day to sit and watch the whole thing.

WOW !! What a bunch of empty seats, man I remember a time when you couldn't get a seat.
I would bet only a third of the 160,00 plus were occupied. :o
And seems ole Kyle showed 'em again whats what.
I think that's 3 out of the last four races he's won there.
Like Coop said he has some serious car control.

Way to go Rowdy.
