Actually a little hard to hike with you, SH. Pictures are reminders of the hiking my wife and I did when we lived in northwest OR at turn of the century. Now that sounds a little old, too! :lol: We enjoyed very much both the hiking & camping we did, and the OR "environment folk" sure did a terrific job then of maintaining beautiful countryside.

If only we could have convinced all our Midwestern kids around here to move out to OR, we would have stayed. That would have been a beautiful area to spend some retirement years!

Thanks for posting your adventures. At least I can enjoy, through your pics, "what might have been." :)

I should be making a hiking post once a week for the rest of the spring and summer. These last two haven't been very glamorous but they are getting us in shape.
