Avatar ?
Just wondering if anyone else out there had their Avatar dis-appear ?
In doing a little checking, I see that mine is still there on my "User Control Panel" but it is not showing up in the forums.
Not sure on how to fix it.
Thanks

Re: Avatar ?
Please post your avatar photo as an attachment here. It may give us some ideas about what's going on. Thanks.

Re: Avatar ?
When the repairs have taken place, the system was updated to the current version of the software and the add ons updated. In the settings, Avatars are set at 40x200 px. They are also currently not allowed from outside sources. Maybe yours was bigger or hosted somewhere else? I can tweak the settings once I get used to some of the new things in the back room.

Re: Avatar ?
OK, I'm trying to re-install the Avatar and finally found the location of the file. I then selected "Upload Avatar" then clicked on "Choose File" and entered it only to have it rejected as it stated "The submitted avatar is 277 pixels wide and 182 pixels high" (Max is 200 X 200).
Now the task of reducing it again. I believe that is what took me months the last time, lol.
Any suggestions?

Reduce it further in size so that the width is 200. the 'high' will scale down of its own accordingly (probably to around 133).

Re: Avatar ?
Appreciate the reply, but that's where I have the trouble, lol.
I need to figure out "how" to reduce it. As mentioned, that is what took so long the last time, which of course now I forgot how I finally accomplished it back then.
It's no secret, with computers, I get by, but barely.

Sorry about that. For posterity sake. On a Windows based computer there is an old 'Paint' program under 'Windows Accessories" in the programs menu.

Mission Accomplished ----------------->
Only took about 35 tries and about an hours worth of time.
Hey, I'm getting good at this !!
I kept re-sizing it but it wouldn't take. I finally found a Save button.
This little tiny icon that I found up in the corner.
I believe I'll be sticking to my day job.
Appreciate the help. It did make a difference.
