Range Trip Tomorrow

Post by Sir Henry » Tue May 17, 2016 10:25 pm

I have most items ready for tomorrow and already in the Bronco. All I need to grab is the firearms and ammo. So this brings me to what I should take. I'm thinking of a Winchester 9422 with a Weaver C4 scope and a Henry SGC with a Weaver C6. Both rifles are in .22WMR and I only want to take one caliber. I could take a CZ but I think I would rather take a Henry Mare's Leg. Whatever I take I want to concentrate for two or three weekly range days before moving on.

First I would shoot benchrest to see what the firearms can do. I expect that is all I'll do tomorrow but in coming weeks I want to shoot both offhand and kneeling.

I'm an hour away from leaving the house. I look forward to range days all week. I usually go on Tuesday and meet several other retired shooters there and then go have lunch together. Don't know who will be at the range today.
