Yup! I've done that! My favorite is The Stand (unedited version). I enjoyed 11/22/63, Dr. Sleep (the sequel to The Shining), and Mr. Mercedes, too.BrokenolMarine wrote: Geez, you could spend a year, or two, working your way thru King's list.

Holly from the Mr. Mercedes trifecta appears in the new King novel, The Outsider. I'm about halfway thru now. It really got it's hooks in. I was up til about one thirty this morning reading.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Re: Reading Much Lately?
I finished "The Outsider." I'd have to give it a Five Star rating. It's got the usual King twists and turns... and I'd say it's set up for a sequel or three. LOL. Having the well remembered character pop up, made me want to re-read the trilogy over again and I was up late again last night, nearly 2 a.m., deep into "Mr. Mercedes." I'm nearly done, and will fall into "Finders Keepers" and "End of Watch" next. When an author creates really well developed characters, you feel like you know them. Revisiting them is like visiting old friends again.

If you have not read the Stephen King novel about the killing of JFK, it is highly recommended. It is chilling; especially if you can remember where you were when you heard that President Kennedy was shot and killed. Also, you mentioned the Jack Reacher series? < ***** = 5 stars! DW
