staying logged in

Post by bandit1250 » Sat Dec 10, 2016 7:02 am

I am having a problem on here with my computer losing my log in every time I go off line. When I log in I always check the block remember me and it still won't be logged in when I come back on our forum. I also lose it on Marlinowners but not all the time on RimfireCentral. Thanks in advance and any help appreciated.

We have it setup that if you break too many Christmas bulbs you get kicked off. Just kidding as I am having the same problem on some websites where I need to log in.

90% of the time I have to log back in. Same with one other forum. I have had to do it for such a long time that I am used to it and wouldn't want it any other way. :D

Correction/update, for the last five or six times that I have accessed the forum, I have been logged in and did not have to actually log in with my password. Unless something changed at this end, the only thing different that I know of is that recently Apple offered another update and I installed it on this IPad. Time will tell.

Windows 10. I never log out. Just change to a different web page. Unless I clear cache and cookies I never have to log in.

Until recently, this forum was doing that to me on my iPad. I haven't changed anything, but for a few weeks now it hasn't been kicking me off nearly as often. I'm glad, as I was getting tired of signing in every time.

No changes made here that would affect this.

Mine so far today is staying logged in. I found that mine had the block checked to clear history every time I logged off. So for now all is well except I am losing some of my PM's never transfer to who I send them to.

I'm running Windows 10 and only have to log in every month or two.

For those having problems, I wonder if it has something to do with how your cookies are set up.

If you have internet explorer sometimes that will happen. Don't use the delete browsing history or delete cookies.
