Independence Day Wishes

Post by HenryFan » Thu Jul 02, 2026 10:08 am

I hope all of my fellow forum members have an enjoyable and safe Independence Day holiday.

We should remember all that the Founding Fathers sacrificed and be appreciative of them.

God Bless America.

That, and let's not forget all the vets who gave their blood to sustain it as well.
I know, there's Veteran's day for that but we should never forget.

God Bless America and all Americans on this great day celebrating our Independence and Freedom. An extra blessing to those who made us Independent and Free and to those who serve to keep us that way!

It’s great to be alive to witness this wonderful day. I was around in 1976 but at the age of 19 my interest was more in the party not the history that allowed me to enjoy the party. :D

Second that, Hatch. I was 17 and my daughter was born October of that year.

Just stumbled across this one.

It took me a couple of days to process these but here are pics of my little sweetie on the 4th in our pool.
She is my Great Grand Daughter and I show her here with her Daddy and her Grandpa.
The day started out with her being pretty timid in the water and ended with her swimming by herself with a flotation device.
All my Children and their offspring have learned to swim in that pool. I put it in in 1988.

They live an hour and a half away so we probably won't see her again for a few weeks.
She's a sweetie. This was her fourth birthday.

We have flower gardens all around the pool area. Here are two.

This flower bed is by the steps and the big boulder is a gift from the last Galciers to
visit our back yard. (A few days ago. )

This is a Hosta bed you can see in the photo at the end of the pool.
It's just starting to bloom now.
