48 with a light rain that just started. On and off showers today and again tomorrow. Then a cool down leading to substantial snow in the mountains. We may see some falling here in the valley but it’s not expected to stick on the ground. My poor neighbor got home from the California high desert where he winters just in time to see snow.
I’m planning on getting the motorhome out of the shop today and begin the de-winter process. We’re taking it to the Coeur d’alene Casino which is about 60 miles away Thursday. We’re seeing the Grand Funk Railroad concert there and this way we can both take the dogs plus not have a late night drive home. And maybe an adult beverage at the show.

It was 54 degrees here this morning. Got to 87 this afternoon. Weather folks have got us in an extreme drought. I had to lay off a row in the garden with drip tape to be able to set out some tomato plants yesterday.

Well they should call March and April the crazy months around here in Central Va. It has been bone dry lately and windy and now rest of week will be in the 90's and dry. Don't even want to think about May thru July!

39 with a hint of sun thru the clouds. High today around 50 with rain coming in this evening. We had a nice soaker rain yesterday which is greatly needed. Grass is starting to green up. A cold front is heading our way and the mountain passes to the west in the Cascades are expecting 10 - 20 inches of snow. That’s great, adding to the snow pack. Not so great for those driving over the pass.
Playing golf today and it’s looking to be a long pants day. Pretty windy too with 20 mph winds around.

A little cooler today, high of around 57°, it's been in the low 70's. Frost warning for Wed. night so I guess I'll wait a week or two before planting my tomatoes.
This is what we woke up to on this date a few years ago, previous record for all of April was a ½inch.

I remember that Dave, you got dumped on and I got little to nothing.
41 and raining this morning. Too dark to see what it looks like out there but I think it rained most of the night. Probably some ponding in the usual places. Loving all this rain. Probably not much in the way of temp improvement, I think it will struggle to get to 50 today. Below freezing tonight and tomorrow night. Saw something about 70 degrees for the start of the week………
Today I’ll flush out the water system on the RV. I left a mild bleach solution in the tank and the water lines overnight. A good flushing and we’ll be ready to go. Leaving tomorrow for a one night trip so that will be a good shake down. Next week we’re taking it up to the property for five days.

90 (RealFeel 95) under a clear sky with no wind @ 3:16PM ... they say our temp will rise to reach a high of 94 later this afternoon before falling back to an overnight low of 61 .... just returned home from taking Maureen to a doctor's appointment where they gave her a shot in the stomach to help increase here bone density .... she has to have regular shots in her stomach; as well as, in one eye .... they both sound terrible to me ..!!!.. in a little over an hour we have to pick our 10 year old grandson up at after school care, bring him back here, get his homework done, get him fed, get him ready for a 6:30PM baseball game ....

I believe you're about 150 miles east, a little north and a little higher than me but our weather sure can be different. We are supposed to get down to freezing tonight but have only got around a ⅒" of rain the last couple of days. Not looking too good for us this summer, the closest Snow Water Equivalent locations to us would be Upper Wheeler at 12% of median and Blewett Pass at 0% of median. Spokane Basin looks a little better depending on your location.
I could have gotten away without even putting the plow on my Cub this Winter, used it once for about 2 inches of really slushy snow that would have been gone in a couple of days if I'd left it. I've already mowed my lawn twice and it needs it again.
