out side pictures from the accident

Post by bandit1250 » Fri Dec 09, 2016 8:04 pm

I have a couple of pictures from out side today while we had the plywood off to straighten up the blocks to get it sealed from the cold.

We got the blocks that were left back in to place and after I took this picture we got a hole cut through the ply wood for the oil pipe to be back on the out side so we can fill the tank when needed. There is not many blocks left under the ply wood that we left on so we filled up the inside with insulation. I calked all the cracks to keep air from coming in. I could throw up every time I look at what this clown has caused my wife and myself to have to deal with and all the trouble I can see coming from the insurance company.

That's a really bad hit on your home. Still I'm glad to see you're making some progress, one step and one day at a time.

Anything further on the person who ran into your house?
Won't his vehicle insurance also in some way cover damages? I would guess there should be something there to help you guys out.

Good to hear from you as you deal with this.....we're behind you from all over the U.S.A!
Take care.

Ouch! He certainly made a mess of your house, bandit. It looks even worse from the outside. I'm just glad that you and your family are unhurt, and I hope the insurance company get their act together asap.

Keep after the insurance company. Was he ticketed? If so, get ahold of the local district attorney office. They may be able to hold his hand to the fire till you are made whole from what the insurance doesn't allow.

Good luck.
