Little Birthday fun with a grandson

Post by Vaquero » Fri Feb 21, 2025 5:56 pm

The grandson and myself had a chilly afternoon of shooting and woods walking. A couple 22's, the little H001 and the Marlin 25N.
We shot some of the gongs, he really liked the Henry. ;) :D
We went for a walk through one of the thickets close to the house, and of course he had to play in the water. Only made it to 35° but we didn't let it stop us.

Lol, he was dead set on some outdoor activities.
The high was 35 and that wasn't for very long. ;)
Was a great afternoon and we had a blast.  :o
Awaiting it to warm up just a little more and we will be out and about again. ;)
Still cloudy out, hoping the sunshine they predicted actually comes about.

Sounds like a great time. We had granddaughter here for two days. She’s 11 and wants to design builds. I pulled out my Mac and showed her how to use Sketch Up and so did remarkably well. Little coach and she did a building with two stories, windows, a balcony with parking under it. Then she’s wanted to design a cabinet for her small horses she collect and make it look like stables. We played around with it. She said we were done wow, we spent over two hours and they just flew by.

My wife said I wondered if you were going to try it.I said yes I thought just start with a box, s
Add a roof, windows door etc it would be fun it was and she learned a lot. We’re doing the most important things we can in the most fun way to help them with values, u un understanding and the true value of sharing wonderful moments together.
