Mostly Cloudy, 61°F, Humidity 72%
Wind Speed E 7 mph
Barometer 29.66 in
Dewpoint 52°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Cloudy, with a high near 66.

We're up early. First church and then we will drive the 95 miles to my home town
to decorate the graves for Memorial Day, then tomorrow I will serve on the VFW Rifle
Squad and we will do a full ceremony at 13 mostly rural cemeteries here where we live.
Once that is done we will entertain family and friends here for a cook out and swim party.
Busy busy.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Hey Coop, hope the weather cooperates with your pool party plans. So wonderful what your VFW Rifle Squad does for our fallen heros. Thanks to you and the entire squad.
Woke up to 42 but it’s 49 now and a beautiful sun is up there. Yesterday tried to be nice but the clouds and wind won the battle. Still was an okay day but not very warm. I have a trailer load of tree limbs remaining from the community clean up a few weeks ago that I will take to the transfer station this morning. Drove by it on our way home from my wife’s test yesterday and the line was out the gate. They have a clean green program for yard waste that’s much cheaper than the normal garbage rate.
Then I’m planning to change the oils in the atv and the tow behind brush cutter and mow my trail. It’s getting very tall with all the rain we’ve had.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Fair, 48°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 29.76 in
Dewpoint 48°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
High near 64.
Calm wind becoming west northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.
Showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 10am.
Chance of precipitation is 80%.
I'm up early again. It does look like we might get wet but we've done the ceremonies in the
rain before. We have rain ponchos to cover our uniforms if it does rain, but when you wear
them it seems you get wetter from sweat than the rain anyway.
We draw weapons at 7 and the first cemetery will be at 8.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
48 out there, was sunny when I got up but now it’s cloudy and gloomy. It’s supposed to be a nice day with temps into the 70’s. Hope so, yesterday’s good forecast was a bust and it didn’t get out of the 50’s and was cloudy.
Did maintenance on my tow behind brush cutter yesterday including air in the rear tires. (Fronts are solid) Checked the manual for proper psi and all it said was to follow the tire sidewall limits. Filled the first one to 31 lbs fine, add air to the second and checked it at 20 psi. Added a little bit more the the damn tire blew out. Crazy???? Hmm, let’s see. Sunday afternoon before a holiday Monday. So it will be tomorrow before Les Schwab opens and hopefully I can get replacements. Did find some on Amazon but I really like the local Les Schwabs and try to support them if possible.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I've dealt with our local Les Schwab's before and they do have good customer service but I priced a set of new tires for my Miata last year and then looked at the same exact tires at Tire Rack. Tire Rack is now owned by Discount Tires and their price installed with all the same warranties, flat repair, free rotations and air checks was over $200 less than Schwab's.
I only put around a couple thousand miles a year on my Miata so it kind of sucks that I had to replace the tires that still had plenty of tread left but they were close to 10 years old.
" Vehicle manufacturers recommend tire replacement at 6 years.
Tire manufacturers' warranties expire at 6 years.
Tire manufacturers recommend replacement at 10 years, regardless of tread depth.
Discount Tire recommends that you replace your tires after 6 years of age, regardless of tread depth. For your safety, we will not service a tire that exceeds 10 years of age."

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Setting up camp for a few days later this week. Did a little cleanup there today. Little wedge tent, coffee on the fire and burn some black powder in the flintlock.
