Another frosty morning up here in shooting camp. 27 but bright sunny skies that will wipe out that frost in short order. Today is supposed to be warm and sunny so yep, time to go home. Yesterday we didn’t get out for a ride on the atv as we kept trying to avoid rain and ran out of time. Today Mrs. Hatchdog and I plan to take the 22’s up to the range and shoot some spinners. Then pack up and head home. Or, maybe pack up and then hit the range when it’s a little bit warmer. Mrs Hatchdog will do just about anything with me as long as she has a bathroom and is warm. :D

It's definitely spring here in the mountains, had snow, hail and rain in the last couple of days. 40's in the day and 20's at night.

Back home again and it’s 43 and sunny. Nice day until later this afternoon when showers come in. Then showery on and off all week and into the first part of the holiday weekend. Should be a nice Memorial Day for folks. Today I need to get mine and my neighbors lawns mowed. They are in the UK for a couple of months. Got to get both done before the rain arrives.

62 on its way to 87 with 0% chance of rain .... much higher humidity and heat due to move in tomorrow, the "muggy meter" will be high .... biggest thing to day is a crew is due to come and perform our annual homes and campers power washing .... hope to get back over to the local city park for a walk this morning, we've not been able to do so since last weekend's 5 day campout

I will be selling poppies today for the VFW Post.
I think the drought might be over. We got around 3 inches of steady rain
yesterday and it came slow enough so we have no damage to the driveway.
Well, I might have to run the blade over it once or twice.

Going solo camping this weekend, just me and my flintlock. Weather unpredictable this time of year but I have my little wedge tent and a good bedroll. :)

48 and rain falling. Rained all night it appears but one of those nice soft continuous rains that soaks up into the ground so wonderfully. Doubt it will get much warmer unless we get a sun break or two. Good day to clean guns in the garage so that’s what I’ll do. :D

66 on its way to 88 today .... our favorite local TV station is calling for 92, while it ain't much better, I prefer the 88 .... high chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms for everyday between now and Monday .... taking care of things that need to be done before next week when we are scheduled to leave for South Dakota remains the focus .... example: today we are taking our Chevy Silverado in to have its tires rotated and balanced .... biggest item for today, going to our 8 year old grandson's last "Coach Pitch" game of this season ...
