30-30 ammo for $8.88. ( in 2018)

I have a big pile of newspapers I have set aside to start my wood stove and yesterday I ran across this ad from BiMart (a regional department store chain). Note the price on the ammo after the rebate. This paper is dated 9/06/2018, back in the good ole days.

I was just in the BiMart store in Sandy today. They don't have ANY .30-30 ammo at all. Seems like it's been many moons since they DID have some in stock. So I bought some CCI Mini Mag for the .22 Golden Boy (bought there on "sale" at that very store, incidentally, for $459 a coupla months back).

Guy behind the counter said they're supposed to be getting some primers and Varget powder sometime in the next few days. I never seem to be there when that stuff shows up, so I may have to set up my own homeless camp on the sidewalk for a few days......
