It was 73° this morning and now it's a warm 98°. A "cool" front is supposed to be coming through tomorrow. Let's see, oh, yah, I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning. I did make it to the range today but nothing worth a range report. I went out and shot a dozen rounds of 25-06. I forgot my stapler so I had to shoot 100 yards. The range has staplers for 100 yards but if you go to the 200 and above range you have to have your own. I was a bit high at 100 but probably about spot on for 200. I was shooting my Ruger No 1.

That's a very cool craving Coop.RP
Carving, I'll bet you mean carving. :D

We had an oak tree that died in our front yard so I contacted a well known chain saw artist
and he carved it for us. I painted it however. Every couple of years I refresh the paint and apply
more Spar Varnish.

It's about fifteen feet tall.
Maybe he meant your craving for Country Fried Steak and Eggs. Darn, now I’m hungry for Country Fried Steak.

all tooooo well understood ....

we awoke to a beautiful morning at Carolina Beach, NC .... the Atlantic Ocean looks calm, sure doubt that will be the case for one week from now if the forecast for Hurricane Ian hold true .... our grandson thoroughly enjoyed but was a bit overwhelmed by the Battleship NC .... yesterday for both lunch and dinner we ate some really good seafood .... Calabash style for lunch and steamed for dinner .... some of the best steamed oysters and crab legs that I've eaten for many years .... my wife, daughter and grandson are back down at the beach .... they should be back in an hour or so when we will pack and hit the road for home

I love the Carolinas. I lived in Northern Virginia for almost 20 years and every Summer we went
several times to Cape Hatteras and the area. Loved the sea food and surf casting at the beach.
Since retiring we have been back a couple of times.

Thankfully we have a food truck that brings fresh seafood from Galveston every other week here so
we get a lot of oysters and shrimp from them. Sometimes the have Red Fish and Crawdads as well.

A nice refreshing 46 out there as I watch the sun stream thru the brush, beautiful. Today’s high is expected to be an incredible 84 and tomorrow 88. If that happens it will be a new record high for Spokane. We’re going to take advantage of this nice weather and take the boat out for a run tomorrow. Today it’s get it done day. :D
