Shooting at my LGS
My wife texted me this afternoon wondering if I was at home. I was, of course, but she had heard about this and was hoping I hadn't stopped by. I know most all of the guys at this store by first name and they carry. I'm glad they are all okay but can't say the same about the attempted robber. He was pronounced at the hospital.

As it should be.
Remember, it's not how many guns you have. It's how many bullets you have.

Not the brightest idea to try a robbery in a gun shop!

Re: Shooting at my LGS
I think (my opinion only) is the guy must have been high on something or was needing another fix. No one in their right mind would try and rob a gun shop. Most the sales guys down there and the cashier all carry. I can only think of one salesman that doesn't.fortyshooter wrote: ↑Wed Jun 22, 2022 3:16 pmNot the brightest idea to try a robbery in a gun shop!

If you do a google search it definitely shows the odds are against the robbers when they try the robbery at a pawn shop or gun store.
A little off topic but this thread reminded me of this great gun store commercial.

Re: Shooting at my LGS
Or the guy who walked into the bar armed with a snub nosed revolver and loudly declared, "This is a robbery, give up the money or I'll blow you all away."
The bar was packed. The bar?
"The Thin Blue Line Pub."
The owner and both bartenders, retired cops.
All the patrons... Cops or retired cops, or wives and girlfriends.
The Robber, shot, a lot.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.
