Something like "Clean Edge Services Inc." Make it an L.L.C. so your assets are protected. Don't limit yourself by the business name. Also is it legal in your area to run a business out of your home? I was self employed my whole working life and sometimes one has to walk a narrow line with the local govt. What about your homeowner's insurance?
I have a variance on my property to allow me a small business out of my workshop. I got it when I had a jewelry store. My intent is to set up an L.L.C. at a later date but in the meantime I can run it as a sole proprietorship I just need to limit the traffic so the neighbors don't complain. I am attempting to set up weekly blade exchanges with some of the many lawn care providers that have cropped up and may set up a knife leasing program with some restaurants for the winter months. My goal is not to become toooo busy just produce some income and keep busy.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I’m not very creative with names but I sure wish you lived closer so I could do business with you.

Although the website stated the office was open the county clerk was closed today. Will have to scoot over there after work one day next week. That gives me more time to pick from the selection offered by all you helpful people.

I would say "The Sharper Image" but someone already took that. Maybe "The Sharper Edge"?

The Courthouse was open today and I made it there after work. Unfortunately several of the names I wanted have been used so.....I went with the plain and simple. Ernie's Sharpening. Says it all. I did a set of mower blades for the landscaper down the road and he promised to bring me several more as well as some chainsaw chains. Now to get some business cards and hit some more businesses.
Afterward I stopped at the animal shelter and left a monetary donation as the word was out that they are in dire need of dog food. Made me feel good.
