Cooco for uh……..32 caliber not Coco Puffs

For unknown reasons I seem to have developed an affinity for 32 caliber firearms. I started with a 327 Fed Mag Ruger SP101 several years ago but foolishly traded it off. A few years ago I bought this Ruger LCRX in .327 from a local guy. Then I went shopping at my LGS for a Henry 30-30 and brought home this Henry .327 instead. Then I inherited this French 32 ACP. So finally I decided I needed a .327 in a bigger handgun than the LCRX so put the bat signal out on the local trader site for a Single Seven. Lo and behold an accommodating member offered this Lipsey’s Exclusive to me for a fair price. So here’s the line up, I’m thinking I need a 32-20 to round out the family.

One of my fun rifles is a 1892 Model Marlin lever action in .32 Long Colt. It was produced over a hundred years
ago and ammo is very hard to find. I have to load my own in fact. I still have some factory loads but they've
become collectors items so I don't shoot them.

It fires a big old lead bullet and if you stand behind it you can sometimes see the bullet in flight, but when it
hits there is a big splat. It's a fun gun to shoot with little recoil. Kinda like a big .22.

Cases are formed from .32 S&W long ammo.

Another fan of 32s, here. Oh, can't say there's some big ballistic advantage to 32s and I'm certainly not going to tell anyone the 327 is just as good as a 357. I just like 32s and enjoy shooting them. It's that simple.

The old 32-20 was actually very popular in the TC Contender pistol. When hand loaded, the 32-20 in the Contender was no slouch and was very accurate.

That's a nice bunch of .32s you have there. I think I have shot a couple of .32s on occasion. I like your collection.

Looks to be an almost complete collection of the .32 I say that to leave that door open for another!

Figures, brought the Single Seven home and yesterday a local guy posted a 3” SP101 in 327 for sale. I like double action revolvers more than single’s but if I get an SP101 I would prefer the 4.2”. He also posted a 10mm revolver (GP100) for sale which is another gun I have always wanted. Gotta exercise some self control here………
